What's New

code parameter in boot (required)

feedbackSDKBoot now requires a code parameter (3rd argument). This is the channel/configuration identifier from the Pisano dashboard (e.g. "PSN-xxxxx"). The SDK uses it for all subsequent API calls.

Before (0.2.8):

feedbackSDKBoot(appId, accessKey, apiUrl, feedbackUrl, eventUrl, callback);

After (0.2.9):

feedbackSDKBoot(appId, accessKey, 'PSN-xxxxx', apiUrl, feedbackUrl, eventUrl, callback);
//                                 ^^^^^^^^^^
//                                 new required parameter

Optional code override in show

feedbackSDKShow now accepts an optional code parameter (4th argument) to override the boot code for a single call. Pass null to use the boot code.

Before (0.2.8):

feedbackSDKShow(viewMode, title, titleFontSize, language, customer, payload, callback);

After (0.2.9):

feedbackSDKShow(viewMode, title, titleFontSize, code, language, customer, payload, callback);

//                                               new optional parameter (null = use boot code)

New callback values

feedbackSDKCallback enum now includes:

Value	Description
DisplayRateLimited	Server-side display rate throttling triggered
SurveyPassive	Channel is set to passive mode
HealthCheckFailed	SDK initialization failed

Bug Fixes

• Android: Fix SDK initialization crash caused by using Application context instead of Activity context
• Android: Fix show parameter ordering (code and language were swapped)
• Android: Implement unified ActionListener for correct callback routing across boot/show/track
• Android: Pass debugMode flag to native PisanoSDKManager.Builder
• Android: Handle empty eventUrl consistently with iOS (treat as null)

Migration Guide

1. Update dependency:

npm install feedback-react-native-sdk@0.2.9

2. Add code to boot call:
