Il limiter del master tiene davvero il tetto
Il limiter in fondo alla catena master è stato misurato dentro il programma, con lo stesso metodo usato su StreamFlow, e aveva due difetti:
- alzava tutto il programma di mezzo decibel (+0,57 dB), anche la musica a basso volume che non doveva toccare. Il componente audio del motore Chromium aggiunge questo guadagno da solo, in proporzione alla soglia;
- non teneva il tetto impostato: con il tetto a −1 dBFS e segnali molto forti l'uscita arrivava oltre 0 dBFS (misurati +0,5 dBTP su un brano reale con Glue spento).
Ora il limiter lavora un poco sotto il tetto scelto (1,5 dB) e un guadagno fisso annulla esattamente quel mezzo decibel in più. Risultato misurato:
- sotto la soglia il segnale passa identico, al centesimo di decibel;
- i picchi restano sotto il tetto per ogni valore del cursore, fino a 12 dB di sovraccarico;
- su un brano dinamico il volume non cambia; su un master già molto compresso (−9 LUFS, picchi a 0 dBFS) il limiter ora lavora davvero e toglie mezzo LU.
Glue Multibanda: era stato tarato con il vecchio limiter nel percorso, cioè con quel mezzo decibel in più. È stato ritarato: con il Glue acceso il livello resta quello di prima (misurato: differenza entro 0,1 LU).
Il cursore «Soglia massima» nelle Impostazioni (Master Chain) ora indica il tetto reale dell'uscita.
Schermata «Novità» dopo l'aggiornamento
Dopo ogni aggiornamento, al primo avvio compare una finestra con le novità in breve e un link alle note di rilascio complete. Compare una volta sola per versione e mai alla prima installazione.

The master limiter really holds its ceiling
The limiter at the end of the master chain was measured inside the program, with the same method used on StreamFlow, and it had two faults:
- it raised the whole programme by half a decibel (+0.57 dB), even quiet music it was not supposed to touch. The audio component of the Chromium engine adds this gain on its own, in proportion to the threshold;
- it did not hold the ceiling you set: with the ceiling at −1 dBFS and very loud signals the output went above 0 dBFS (measured +0.5 dBTP on a real track with the Glue off).
The limiter now works slightly below the chosen ceiling (1.5 dB) and a fixed gain cancels exactly that extra half decibel. Measured result:
- below the threshold the signal passes through unchanged, to a hundredth of a decibel;
- peaks stay below the ceiling for every slider value, up to 12 dB of overload;
- on a dynamic track the level does not change; on an already heavily compressed master (−9 LUFS, peaks at 0 dBFS) the limiter now actually works and takes off half an LU.
Multiband Glue: it had been calibrated with the old limiter in the path, that is with that extra half decibel. It has been recalibrated: with the Glue on, the level stays where it was (measured: within 0.1 LU).
The «Maximum threshold» slider in Settings (Master Chain) now shows the real output ceiling.
«What's new» screen after updating
After every update, on first launch a window shows a short summary of what is new and a link to the full release notes. It appears only once per version and never on a fresh install.

package.jsonto a dedicated file,electron-builder.yml, with identical content. Automatic updates still readPitz72/RRLMP.
