Card-Mod Compatibility — Blank Screen Conflict
Combined Notifications may work with card-mod installed, it may not. Some users will experience a blank screen when opening the configuration panel. Combined Notifications may not be compatible with card-mod's older deprecated code on your system. Card-mod does not play well with current Home Assistant LitElements (design features) that were brought into HA as recent coding protocols.
This is a known conflict between newer integrations and card-mod. Card-mod has been updated to a new integration called UIX to fix issues with newer integrations.

If you are having a blank screen issue, you will need to update card-mod to UIX.

It is a drop-in replacement and no additional coding or changes in your system should be necessary as it reads card-mod styles and custom:card-mod cards without changes. When you remove card-mod, you will also need to completely remove any card-mod resource lines from your configuration.yaml if you have them.
