FileMimeTypeDetector:

  • Set locale to Unicode to make libmagic work with filenames that use Unicode symbols
  • Use a single instance of the libmagic database to preserve RAM in case several FileMimeTypeDetector objects are created

Overall improvements:

  • improve error messages
