PSHB Population Dynamics Model

Model scripts and associated datasets for running a temperature-dependent population model (and subsequently building a SDM) for the polyphagous shot-hole borer (PSHB), as described in Coates & Phillips, 2025; 'Boring beetles and super models: mapping potential distributions of a new invader'. For running the population model for a single location, see src/basic within-pop model.R. For running the population model over a spatial grid to produce a SDM, see src/sim_call.R, which is called as a High Performance Computing (HPC) job submission.
