  • "Overwrite Existing" Option: A new checkbox in the UI allows users to choose whether to overwrite files that already exist in the destination folder. When unchecked, the script will skip existing files and report them, preventing accidental data loss.
  • Backwards Compatibility for WebP: The script is now version-aware.
    • On Photoshop 2022 (v23) and newer, it uses the modern, native WebP save engine.
    • On older versions, it will automatically attempt to use the legacy Google WebPShop plugin, extending support to more users.
  • Input Validation: Added validation for "Fit Longest Edge" and "Set PPI" fields to ensure only valid, positive numbers are entered, preventing errors during processing.
