Posnic 1.9.0
- Kitchen display: whole orders stay together, table details use less space, and shorter orders leave room for the next ticket. Portrait previews help set up vertical monitors.
- Order progress: compact quantity indicators show cooking, ready and collected items. Served quantities leave the active display, and cancelled items receive a clear cancellation notice.
- Kitchen voice: record, review and send messages from the desktop. Supported touch kitchen screens can replay recordings attached to an order.
- Running orders: additions to an existing order are labelled Running Order. Captain-entered preparation amounts remain visible on kitchen tickets and displays.
- Hardware settings: reorganised controls and live previews, clearer audio switches, theme-aware refresh controls, and receipt preview times without seconds.
- Reliability and security: printing-helper recovery, import validation, customer-balance and access-control fixes accumulated since the previous public release.
- Desktop sign-in: browser authorization returns focus to Posnic, with an Open Posnic fallback.
Back up your shop before upgrading and test your kitchen display, receipt printer and kitchen printer before service. Successful software or spooler checks do not establish that a physical ticket printed.

Windows installers are signed and timestamped by BillMax. macOS packages are signed and notarized. Each installable package has a matching CycloneDX SBOM; compare both against SHA256SUMS.txt and verify their GitHub attestations.
Windows attestations record hosted verification of a locally built, card-signed package. They do not claim GitHub compiled it or independently reproduced its source. Follow the release verification guide.
