Changes

Updates the sales handbook to reflect that Ben Bradley is now the lead in charge of Sales, CS, and Onboarding (Charles Cook handed over these functions to focus on Marketing).

References to Charles in his former sales/CS/onboarding exec capacity were replaced with Ben across:

  • account-allocation.md — quarterly review, Top 40 reviews, allocation input (4 spots)
  • contract-rules.md — discount approval backup, additional credit/discount approver (2 spots)
  • how-we-work.md — segment assignment, monthly account review, TAE performance conversations, commission rule backup, customer Zendesk channel members (5 spots)
  • new-hire-onboarding.md — "Meet with the exec responsible for Sales" intro for TAEs and TAMs (2 spots), updated scope to "Sales, CS, and Onboarding" and pointed to Ben's profile
  • new-sales.md — monthly account reassignment review
  • professional-services.md — FDE engagement gate
  • risk-mitigation-and-churn-prevention.md — leadership escalation for >$50k ARR at-risk accounts
  • sales-operations.md — MSA contact
  • slack-channels.md — customer Slack channel leadership invites

Preserved (intentionally not changed)

  • Direct quotes attributed to Charles (customer-faqs.md MEDDPICC, outbound-sales.md "companies don't buy software")
  • Example outreach script in getting-people-to-talk-to-you.md that uses "Charles" as a sample customer-contact name
  • growth-engineering/growth-sessions.md reference to "Charles (Sales/Marketing/Ops Exec)" — sits in growth engineering rather than the sales handbook and overlaps marketing; left for Ben/Charles to decide

Note on `contract-rules.md` discount approver line

The original line listed Ben (TAEs), Simon (TAMs/CSMs), and Charles (as backup). A naive find-and-replace would have listed Ben twice. I rewrote it as "Ben Bradley (TAEs, or as exec backup) or Simon Fisher (TAMs or CSMs)" — happy to adjust if Ben would like a different framing (e.g. if a separate TAE lead is being designated).

Looks good - I’ve suggested removing Onboarding in two spots as a) they don’t report to me and b) they don’t offer discounts generally
