Some more bug fixes.

Known Issues:

  • When selecting to install in default profile, the "profiles.ini parsing" will fail and it will fall back to the "legacy method" - I am currently working on fixing this.

Bug fix

BetterfoxInstaller v1.2.1

@PowerPCFan PowerPCFan released this 19 Apr 10:59

Just a quick patch to make the "install in all profiles" option much faster by having the file download to a temp location first and then copy to all profile folders, rather than downloading it from the source directly to each profile.

Below is the .ps1 file as usual, or you can use the oneliner on the README

The script should still function mostly the same, but I did some refactoring, added a few small features, better error handling, better default profile detection handling, and more

Same thing as 1.1.0 but I removed the EXE since it doesn't really work. See the README for run instructions

@PowerPCFan PowerPCFan released this 17 Dec 14:03

MAJOR UPDATE! Added a new option to install to default profile instead of all profiles.

Attached are the ps1 and exe versions.

EDIT: the EXE only works if you run as admin, I need to fix that but not now lmao

I attached the .ps1 source and the compiled EXE. Choose whichever one you'd like, they both work fine from my testing.
