Expanding AI Interaction Tracking

AlloIA now captures significantly more of the AI traffic visiting your store. Every time an AI crawler (ChatGPT, ClaudeBot, GPTBot, PerplexityBot, and more) lands on a product page, a \site_visit\ event is sent to the AlloIA platform — giving you a complete picture of AI engagement with your store beyond what reaches the Alloia knowledge graph.

New capabilities:

  • Site visit tracking — AI bot visits to your product pages are now recorded as \original_site\ interactions in your AI Insights dashboard, alongside existing graph-level events
  • Checkout click tracking — when an AI bot follows through to your cart or checkout page, a \checkout_click\ event captures that intent signal

How it works:

  • Events fire non-blocking (zero impact on page load for human visitors)
  • 1-second timeout — if the AlloIA API is unreachable, the store is completely unaffected
  • No API key configured? Events are silently skipped
  • Compatible with all WordPress/WooCommerce versions supported by the plugin

Result: Your AI Insights dashboard now reflects the full volume of AI interactions on your site, not just the subset that queries the Alloia graph directly.
