3. The Classroom Dashboard
The classroom dashboard is designed to be the page that is left open in a classroom near a print farm. This page contains the ability to see and download files from the queue, set printer statuses, and post maintenance log messages.
Select a category, then click the view button. The queue is sorted from oldest entries to newest entries, with elevated entries appearing first. You can click the dropdown arrow to view the information associated with the print.

Format of the main row:
| User Name:Print Name | Purpose of Print | Purpose is Personal (Person Icon) or School Related (Graduate Cap) | Dropdown Arrow |
- From here, users should download, slice, and start their print.
- When the print has started, they should click the "Elevate Status" button, which will mark the queue entry as "printing".
- When the print has completed, click "Elevate Status" again, and the print is marked as "printed". The print will then disappear after the queue is reloaded (aka clicking the View button again).
If the user who owns the file that was submitted to the print system deletes their file, an error will appear on the queue page, saying the file has been deleted. A button will then appear allowing users to delete the entry from the system to keep it free of spam.
To update the status of a printer, simply click the status of the printer you want to change. A modal will appear with options. If selecting "Printing", an additional field appears requesting the time remaining on the print. The field MUST be in the format of hh:mm. If a print is longer than a day, still list the number of hours (e.g. 36:30).
