Version

• Project version is 2.3.1 (CMakeLists.txt VERSION and src/version.h.in).
• PROJECT_VERSION_BUILD_NO is 5. The hardfork minimum build is still 4.

The previous mainnet LMDB snapshot was pdc_lmdb_1986.pak. MDBX predownload was empty in 2.3.0.

MDBX geometry

New MDBX databases can be created on a host whose OS page is 16 KiB. mdbx_env_set_geometry installs the requested 4 KiB database page before it converts the growth step, and the grow/shrink step is clamped to a size that fits in a uint16 page count and stays aligned to the OS page. An existing database is not rewritten. This is a local creation fix and does not change consensus.

Hosts

• Wrap status is requested from http://wrapped.privacydatacoin.com/api2/get_wrap_info (previously wrapped.pdc.org).
• The GUI layout submodule (0ba11db15b695e3298294ba0d5513d26eb3d6278) uses https://api.privacydatacoin.com for the asset whitelist and https://wrapped.privacydatacoin.com for wrap info.
• Chain snapshots are served from https://api.privacydatacoin.com/pre-download/.

Wallet and API

• Compact wallet sync is on by default. Wallets may ask get_blocks for compact transactions (signatures and proofs omitted). Older daemons ignore the flag and return full blocks. Pending compact transactions are not relayed without signatures. This is wallet transport metadata and is not written into the blockchain database.
• getinfo includes the daemon version string.
• GUI log size and clear methods are available on the log stream splitter.
• PoS coinbase rewards are labeled apart from PoW in wallet history.
• A full wallet rescan runs on the wallet thread from genesis, so the UI does not freeze the displayed height at 0.
• Remote-node mode treats a daemon that only has inbound peers as online once getinfo returns a real tip, so wallet sync is not stuck in "connecting".

Branding, license, donations

• LICENSE starts with a PrivacyDataCoin copyright header. The Zano MIT text below it is unchanged.
• Donation lines in the README are PDC @arqtras and XMR 44xwrxeWXiCQJhvxxa5sVn6etiCoRAzHkMRJP6re2ySXXCJd4S5qvshjnyhePGFSftCjBHNKAdH5e2nZyrJgNTowBdGzRaU.
• App icons, brand marks, and the website logos and favicon are the current PrivacyDataCoin set.
• The website includes an App Store privacy page.

Builds

• macOS CLI and GUI workflows run on macos-latest (they no longer target macos-14).
• Linux GUI packages ship qt.conf, WebEngine resources and locales, and the OpenSSL 1.1 libraries used at build time, so the GUI is not blank when Qt looks up the CI prefix.
