PDC 2.4.2

Version 2.4.2.9 (handshake min build unchanged: 4).

Summary

  • Ubuntu 22.04 AppImages run on newer hosts, including Ubuntu 24.04 and 26.04.
  • Bundled NSS/NSPR is pinned ahead of the host softokn, so Qt WebEngine no longer aborts on startup.
  • The Qt GUI uses the host libstdc++, which removes the std::bad_cast crash while formatting daemon status. CLI tools keep a static libstdc++.
  • The AppImage does not bundle libstdc++. The Ubuntu 24.04 smoke test fails if the GUI log contains std::bad_cast.
