Bridge 3.6.6

Choose a tag to compare

@CarlDV CarlDV released this 22 Oct 15:59

Bridge-only release. Client, desktop and Android downloads stay 3.6.5.

MCP harnesses now know what they are connected to

The initialize instructions and every tool description state that tools act on one live Roblox client, that Roblox Studio is never involved, that reads observe this client's replicated DataModel, and that writes stay local and remain subject to the game server. A harness model previously received only its own system prompt, so it could answer as if UAI were a Studio project.

The OpenCode tunnel carries the same statement; it previously sent none.

Refined conversation reading surface

Transcript, composer, tables and code share one 720px measure. Headings use a 28/22/18/15 ladder with balanced wrapping. Each answer is separated by a hairline and introduced by a monogram byline with a model chip. The activity drawer is a quiet footnote row instead of a card. Tables, code headers, inline code, links and the floating jump control were restyled. No markup or class contract changed.

Existing installs receive this automatically while idle.

3.6.5 - Reliable connections and a refreshed desktop

Choose a tag to compare

@CarlDV CarlDV released this 21 Oct 06:43

Client, bridge, Windows desktop and Android companion now share version 3.6.5 in this single release.

  • Refresh the Windows Cowork launcher with a clearer connection overview, locally drawn brand, grouped settings and a scrolling layout for narrow windows.
  • Fix the executable needing two launches when an existing instance mutex has no owner. Preserve requests to restore a window during startup.
  • Bound unfinished native HTTP work on touch-only devices across discovery, Stop, new jobs and supported reloads; cancellation has a separate bounded lane.
  • Keep Always use relay enforced after failed discovery. Stop oversized or malformed replies once without resubmitting inference.
  • Bound complete companion JSON response bytes before expanding large provider bodies, including the extra HttpPost envelope. Oversized responses return a small 413 error while retaining the original receipt.
  • Bound expanded mobile reasoning presentation before formatting and native layout, preserving original reasoning in context and saved history.
  • Include the verified OpenCode native execution guard from bridge 3.6.2, so blocked desktop tool selections can return feedback and continue with available Roblox tools.

Download UAI-Bridge-3.6.5-win-x64.exe for Windows or UAI-Relay-3.6.5.apk for Android. The Windows download is a standalone executable with its bridge and client embedded. Android updates retain the production signing identity; installation requires Android confirmation. Reload the current Roblox client after updating.

Verification includes real Windows standalone startup/window/bridge checks, Lua transport/provider regressions, companion JVM tests, lint, signed APK inspection, bridge security/update checks and deterministic artifact checks. Details: verification record.

The Android report identifies a native Roblox SIGSEGV but supplies no native stack trace. These fixes address reproduced transport and presentation defects; a physical-device crash reproduction was unavailable.

Project UAI Bridge 3.6.2 — OpenCode execution permission gate

Choose a tag to compare

@CarlDV CarlDV released this 21 Oct 04:26

Fixes the remaining OpenCode tunnel failure after 3.6.1:
OpenCode could not verify that a desktop tool was blocked.

The bridge installs a private execution permission gate in its isolated OpenCode
server, preserving the native tool schemas required by free models. It waits for
the selected tool's matching pending permission and confirmed interruption before
returning blocked-action feedback. Exact UAI calls on the private remote MCP
server retain the normal Roblox tool handoff.

Existing desktop 3.6.0 installs download this verified bridge update automatically
and activate it when work and retained receipts are idle. Client remains 3.6.1;
desktop and Android downloads remain 3.6.0. This release contains only the bridge
manifest and package. No new desktop executable is needed.

Verification results and their limits are recorded in
TESTING_3.6.2.md.

3.6.1 — OpenCode tunnel tool recovery

Choose a tag to compare

@CarlDV CarlDV released this 20 Oct 10:37

OpenCode conversations can now recover when the model chooses a desktop tool. The bridge verifies its blocked permission and confirms interruption, then returns feedback so the Roblox agent can continue with an available tool. Desktop actions remain disabled.

Mixed Roblox/desktop tool batches retain provider order even when remote calls arrive out of order. Stop, malformed handoffs and provider failures remain terminal, and native prompts are not replayed.

Client and bridge are 3.6.1. Existing desktop 3.6.0 automatically downloads the bridge and all web files and applies the update when idle. No new desktop executable is required. Refresh the browser and reload the published Roblox loader for the complete client feedback. Desktop and Android downloads remain at 3.6.0; the desktop's Copy client script action retains its embedded client.

Focused verification passed: 16 native adapter tests; 25 OpenCode transport/discovery/updater tests (one platform skip); 7 scripting cases with 29 assertions; targeted source and official Luau compiler checks; build freshness; static and Chromium site checks. The full native suite was not run. Live model behavior was not reprobed.

Assets include the verified automatic-update bridge manifest/package and the client bundle/build manifest.

3.6.0 - Clearer conversations and reliable connections

Choose a tag to compare

@CarlDV CarlDV released this 19 Oct 11:59

Clearer conversations and reliable connections

Project UAI 3.6.0 updates the client, bridge, Windows desktop app and signed Android companion together.

  • A new Project UAI page: a responsive white monochrome design with an interactive animated 3D centerpiece, SVG motion and clearer paths to tools, installation and app downloads. Pause controls and reduced-motion support keep the experience comfortable.
  • Readable responses: one answer area per turn, with tool calls, reasoning and delegated work collected in a collapsed Activity drawer. Approvals and failure summaries stay visible.
  • Redesigned reasoning and errors: formatted reasoning with a separate Copy action; clear error explanations and recovery controls, with original diagnostics behind Technical details. Reviewing a failed message preserves an existing draft and never resends inference automatically.
  • Better OpenCode detection: find native CLI binaries behind npm/Bun launchers, quoted Windows PATH entries, active nvm installations, common desktop install folders and macOS app resources. Startup checks available candidates for API compatibility before selecting one.
  • Reliable companion message decoding: accept bounded gzip request bodies before JSON parsing, including missing encoding headers. The old server's exact invalid executor request failure was reproduced with a valid compressed envelope; the updated server accepts it without changing authentication or retry ownership. Update UAI Relay and reload the script; resetting pairing does not repair request encoding.
  • Simpler UAI Relay: clear connection status, one Start/Stop control, short setup steps, compact request activity and collapsed advanced settings. Update installation and recovery actions remain easy to find.
  • Accurate update status: a replacement bridge worker reports the version it is actually running while the supervisor completes activation.

Downloads

  • Windows: UAI-Bridge-3.6.0-win-x64.exe. Node.js and OpenCode are detected separately; the OpenCode CLI is not bundled.
  • Android: UAI-Relay-3.6.0.apk (Android 8.0+, version code 5). This uses the existing production signing identity, so production installs can update in place and retain pairing. Android still requires confirmation to install an update.
  • Client: uai.lua with its build manifest. Existing loaders pick up the updated bundle.
  • Bridge: uai-bridge-package.json with bridge-release.json for automatic updates.

Both app downloads include checksums and release manifests. UI LIB remains 1.3.0; SDK remains 1.0.0.

Verification

Focused relay, OpenCode discovery, browser rendering, updater, Android JVM and packaged Windows checks are recorded in the 3.6.0 verification record. The full native suite was not run.

The reported phone's exact request encoding remains unobserved. Android emulator attempts failed on the Windows host before Android boot; companion layout previews are browser mocks, and this release does not claim a fresh native phone acceptance run. Real installed OpenCode 2.0.32 was detected and its model catalog loaded on Windows without submitting provider inference.

See the complete changelog.

3.5.6 - Mobile relay reliability and automatic updates

Choose a tag to compare

@CarlDV CarlDV released this 18 Oct 12:58

Client, bridge, Windows desktop and Android companion now ship together as 3.5.6.

Downloads

Changes

  • Fix rejected companion requests caused by fractional timeout values. Updated clients and companions remove the unintended five-minute inference deadline while keeping executor exchanges short; explicit deadlines still apply.
  • Recover saved pairing and detect a newly started relay when sending. Lost polls keep the original job, and Stop cancels it without replaying inference.
  • Show live client contact, accepted/active jobs, received bytes and failure categories. A two-minute ownership lease cancels jobs abandoned by Roblox and releases idle resources.
  • Add automatic relay update checks at startup and every 15 minutes while the app or relay process runs. Compatible official updates download by default and are verified for size, SHA-256, package/version, Android compatibility and signing certificate.
  • Preserve verified downloads and interrupted installation state. Installation waits for idle work, requires Android approval, and preserves an explicit Stop.
  • Publish the production-signed companion APK, update manifest and checksum alongside the desktop and client assets. UI LIB remains 1.3.0 and SDK 1.0.0.

Companion installation

Earlier debug-signed companion installs require a one-time uninstall and installation of this production APK. Uninstalling clears settings and pairing, so start the relay and pair again afterward. Future production updates retain the same signing key and preserve app data. Android requires installation approval; automatic checking and downloading are enabled by default.

Verification and limits

All 68 companion JVM tests passed; Android lint completed with zero errors and 24 warnings. Focused client/bridge tests, the official Luau compiler, desktop self-tests and packaged smoke checks passed. Published binaries include checksums and update metadata.

OpenCode free models on a real Android device/mobile executor remain unverified and unsupported. Text, tool calls and replay passed using the companion HTTP library on Windows, which does not establish phone support. Use Project UAI Free or another supported provider. Native Android installation and upgrade acceptance also remain unverified.

Project UAI 3.3.5 — Stronger agents and desktop bridge

Choose a tag to compare

@CarlDV CarlDV released this 18 Oct 02:32

Stronger agent instructions, a refreshed desktop bridge, and clearer chat activity.

  • Models get explicit native tool-call, JSON, schema, pagination and completion rules. Main and worker prompts stay within their existing size budgets.
  • Fixes the incomplete tool-limit patch in fbd093a: all tools remain accessible beyond the 128-declaration ceiling. The model can read an omitted tool's exact schema and call it with the original permissions and receipts.
  • The desktop dashboard has saved OpenCode tunnel, MCP access, browser-open, start-on-launch and app-update switches. Minimize stays on the taskbar. Closing stops Cowork and exits, even when an update is staged.
  • OpenCode reports its actual installed CLI version and checks the required native API. CLI 2.0.32 passed real tool handoff, result replay, a 121-tool catalog, and schema discovery/calling for tool 163 through the new adapter.
  • Review, edit, reorder, copy and clear queued follow-ups while preserving drafts and attachments. Stale edits are rejected; clear affects only reviewed messages.
  • Bridge tool cards have readable names, separate input/progress/outcome summaries, labeled fields, exact copy actions and expandable code/results. Assistant and tool responses render safe documentation links. Short-window queue controls remain reachable.

Download UAI-Bridge-3.3.5-win-x64.exe for Windows 10/11 x64. OpenCode remains an optional separate installation. Reload the current UAI client script in Roblox to use the new native features.

Existing desktop versions with an updater discover this stable release, verify the executable and stage it for the next app launch. Use Restart to update app after stopping Cowork to apply immediately. Bridge worker updates activate only when work is idle. Desktop 1.0 predates the updater and needs one manual download.

This release includes both updater manifests, the bridge package, the standalone desktop executable and checksum, and the native client bundle/manifest. The mobile companion is unchanged. Focused verification is recorded in TESTING_3.3.5.md; the entire native suite was not run.

UAI Relay 3.5.7 - Delta local transport

Choose a tag to compare

@CarlDV CarlDV released this 18 Oct 14:09

Delta 1.1.741.1062 was reported to reach the companion through HttpGet while native request failed with HttpError: ConnectFail. This release adds an authenticated HttpPost transport for that situation.

Install UAI-Relay-3.5.7.apk and reload the current Project UAI client (or the uai.lua asset here), then press Scan now. Existing production installations can update in place and retain pairing. The companion updater can discover this release.

Credentials remain in POST bodies. Submission, polling and cancellation use the existing engine, job identity and deadlines. Companion 3.5.6 and earlier do not support this transport.

Validation: focused Lua discovery, HTTP, mobile relay and deadline checks; native static and Luau compilation; signed APK verification. Android HttpPost and end-to-end inference still require testing on the target Delta build.

Project UAI 3.3.1

Choose a tag to compare

@CarlDV CarlDV released this 17 Oct 13:35

Roomier Roblox model selection with temperature under Models ? Options ? Temperature, softer free-model outlines, visible queued messages, and clearer bridge tool/error cards.

Roblox now receives real live text and reasoning previews from the bridge. Waiting inference no longer consumes native HTTP connection slots, avoiding false worker-limit deadline errors with concurrent agents. Connected bridge inference has no overall local deadline; Stop and actual provider failures remain effective.

Automatic bridge updates install after active work finishes. Desktop updates stage for app restart. Reload the Roblox script to use the native fixes.

Validation: native UI/transport regressions, browser tool-card/workflow checks, streaming and updater tests, standalone desktop self-test/smoke test and packaged MCP passed. See docs/TESTING_3.3.1.md.
