CAC Ontology v3.1.0 expands investigation modeling while strengthening interoperability, validation, and agent guidance.
Highlights
- Adds the spine-level Conditioning macro-phase and CaseLinker exploitation-lifecycle state-machine extensions.
- Expands legal-outcomes modeling with charging instruments, conviction records, supervised-release conditions, and payment schedules.
- Adds structured NCMEC aggregate-report statistics, CyberTip identifier extraction, and jurisdiction-routing concepts.
- Adds attribution and account/IP correlation evidence, fabricated personas, image-leak threats, victim vulnerability contexts, and core case-identification properties.
- Uses stable, unversioned ontology document IRIs with versioning expressed through
owl:versionIRI. - Pins CASE/UCO imports to 1.5.0 and gUFO imports to 1.0.0.
- Aligns documentation, JSON-LD contexts, knowledge-graph examples, analytics artifacts, and SPARQL queries with v3.1.0.
- Directs AI-assisted modeling through the CASE/UCO SDK MCP Server for ontology discovery, modeling recipes, validation, extension design, and change proposals.
Validation
The release parses all ontology and example artifacts, passes 167 SHACL validations and 13 focused unit tests, parses 226 top-level SPARQL query blocks, executes focused competency queries, and verifies pinned imports and migration safeguards.
