v0.2.6
Fixed
- A laptop waking with its lid shut no longer resizes a remote session under
whoever is using it — a closed laptop still wakes in the background for power
and network housekeeping, and muxel keeps working through those wakes. A remote
pane whose connection had dropped during sleep was reattached there and then, and
attaching resizes the tmux window on the host — so a session someone was using
from another machine jumped size, with nobody at the laptop at all. A remote
reattach now waits while the lid is shut and no external display is in use, on
macOS, Linux and Windows alike. The drop is still noticed, so the pane reads
"reconnecting…" rather than looking dead, and the first moment the lid opens it
reattaches immediately rather than serving out a backoff. A laptop closed with an
external display attached does not sleep, so it reconnects exactly as before, and
local panes are untouched. - The cursor stops flickering while an agent is working — an agent hides its
cursor to redraw and shows it again immediately afterwards, and muxel draws
whatever has arrived so far. When that pair landed in separate reads, the frame
drawn between them had no cursor, so the cursor appeared to blink at random —
only ever while output was flowing, and more often through tmux or on a machine
busy enough to split the reads. A frame that has just hidden the cursor now waits
a moment for the show that follows, so the cursorless frame is never drawn.
Nothing is guessed at: a program that really did mean to hide its cursor sends no
show, and the waiting frame hides it, only that much later.
