New: the Native renderer. WWE 2K14 can now be drawn directly with Vulkan instead of through an emulated Xbox 360 graphics chip - much faster, especially on integrated graphics (AMD Radeon 780M, Intel UHD). Choose Native or Xbox (the previous renderer) in the launcher's Settings.
- New Native renderer (default): draws the game directly with Vulkan; much faster, especially on integrated
graphics. Picture size 480p / 720p / 1080p / 1440p / 4K, frame rate Locked 30 / 30-60 / 60 everywhere,
anti-aliasing on or off. - Launcher Renderer choice: Native or Xbox (the previous renderer), with hover descriptions.
- Fixed stutter and crashes on laptops with AMD integrated graphics (Radeon 780M): the renderer keeps fast video
memory within the driver's limit. - Fewer first-time pauses: graphics effects are prepared when the game starts.
- Moving to a new folder: on its first start the launcher finds your previous installation and offers to bring
everything over (game folder with the title update, DLC, saves, created superstars, music, keys, settings);
later via Game files -> Import Previous Installation. - Windows and Linux builds, as in v1.0.1.
Download WWE2K14-Recomp-v1.1.0-x64.zip (Windows + Linux). Already on v1.0.1? Press Update in your launcher - your game files, saves, DLC and settings stay in place. Extracting into a new folder instead? The launcher offers to bring everything over from your previous installation on its first start.
Known issues (Native renderer): Bobby Heenan's outfit can show a red tint in WrestleMania mode; rope shadows can show as solid lines on some graphics cards; John Cena's belt can shake with 60 Everywhere (use 30 / 60); rarely the loading screen after choosing wrestlers does not finish. Switch to the Xbox renderer if something blocks you.
You need your own legally obtained copy of the game (see DISCLAIMER.md). This release is distributed as a download only.
