Before installing
- Requires Home Assistant 2026.7.0 or newer.
- Remove the legacy Weber Connect add-on before installing 3.0.
- During first pairing, fully close the Weber app and temporarily disable Bluetooth on phones or tablets that may reconnect to the hub.
- This is an unofficial community integration and is not affiliated with Weber-Stephen Products LLC.
Validation scope
Validated on a Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub with Home Assistant 2026.7.2, a local Bluetooth adapter, and one ESPHome Bluetooth proxy. Local-to-proxy path recovery and one-hour proxy-only operation were verified. Two-proxy failover has not yet been physically tested.
