Hardening: a view-only/demo license key now correctly locks paid features when authoring in Power BI Desktop (Desktop reports the visual as View mode even while editing; the maps now also use the Format pane as an authoring signal). Viewers of published reports are unaffected — fully-licensed render as before. Timeline is a version-only bump.
