Changed

  • The BetaTester banner told testers not to report anything, and one of them almost didn't. Every page of the beta build carried a single instruction — "do NOT open issues about inconsistent data" — written to hold back a flood of "my costs look wrong" on a REEV, which is expected while REEV behaviour isn't integrated. It held back more than that. A tester found a real defect — one refuel filed three times — and wrote it as an afterthought at the bottom of a report about something else, because, in his words, "it says all over the place not to report data inconsistencies".

The banner now draws the line where it belongs. A figure that merely looks off still needs no issue; anything that looks broken — an event counted twice, a duplicate row, a value that cannot be true — is worth reporting. The same split replaces the old sentence on the one-time consent screen. All seven languages. The beta repository's issue form, its acknowledgement checkbox, both READMEs, the add-on documentation, the consent notice and the add-on store description carried the same discouragement in seven more places and now say the same thing. (beta #17, @pdifeo.)
