Mate 4.7.14 — the chart of a running charge, live, and the Report

The chart every finished charge has under its card is now on the Charges page while the charge runs,
with the wallbox's line at home. And the Monthly Report is called Report.

The chart of a running charge, live — #379

While the car charges, the 📈 Charging data chart of that charge sits among the cards at the top of the
Charges page and grows with every poll: when the charge began and the charge level so far, the car's
power with the minutes it says are left, the charge level and the temperatures. By @arekm.

At home it draws the wallbox's line beside the car's, as the chart of a finished charge does: the power
the wallbox delivers at the socket beside the power the car takes into the battery. A charge is at home
when its type was set at its start (a place recognised by GPS, or the always-at-home setting), or,
untyped, when the wallbox is delivering power while the car is plugged in. A charge placed by GPS at
another charger gets no wallbox line, whatever the home wallbox does meanwhile.

A pause with the cable in, the charge stopped from the app or by the wallbox, reads 0 kW and the chart
goes on. The card is there only while the car is charging. When the readings stop coming, or the cloud
re-serves an old frame, the LIVE badge gives way to the age of the last reading, as on the Overview.

The Monthly Report is called Report — #370

On the current month the page's driving-energy card opens on Today, on purpose: Today and This week are
the only figures on the page that are nowhere else. A page named after the month that opens on today read
as a mistake (@arekm). The menu entry and the page title drop "monthly" in the eight languages, and so do
the manuals and the README. The page itself is unchanged.

Upgrade impact

  • Normal update. Nothing changes in the stored data.
  • With a wallbox in Home Assistant, while a charge runs at home and the Charges page is open, Mate reads
the wallbox's power history from Home Assistant every 30 s.
  • The Monthly Report is now Report, in the menu and on the page.

Verification

  • The running chart: 13 tests came with #379; 12 of them fail on 4.7.13, and the thirteenth pins the chart
of a finished charge, which does not change. They cover a chart drawn while the car charges and not
from an open row alone, the age in place of LIVE, the wallbox's line for a charge typed at home and for
an untyped one while the wallbox delivers to the plugged-in car, no line at a public charger, a pause
at 0 kW, and a redrawn chart that leaves no listener behind.
  • On a test page with a simulated wallbox: the wallbox's AC line beside the car's DC line, the chart
    growing with each reading.
  • The history read, measured on a real Home Assistant (a Raspberry Pi 5) with a Wallbox Pulsar: a charge
    of 2 h 43 min is 798 points and 52 KB, read in 28–154 ms; a 10-hour window is 1,345 points and 88 KB,
    33–68 ms.
  • A charge running for 10 hours, on our B10's readings: 1,135 readings read in 21–27 ms.
  • Not yet seen on a real charge: the wallbox's line drawn live was tried with a simulated wallbox.
  • The rename: the menu, the page title and the two hints that named the page, in the eight languages;
the five manuals and the README.
  • Test suite green.

    simulata.
  • La rinomina: il menu, il titolo della pagina e le due frasi che nominavano la pagina, nelle otto lingue;
i cinque manuali e il README.
  • Suite dei test verde.
