i2pd for Android 3.0.0

The app is rewritten from scratch on top of i2pd 3.0.0. It has a new interface, editors for router settings and tunnels, built-in torrents, and full management of the router's data. The router now runs in a separate process, managed by a foreground service.

Requires Android 6.0 or newer. Devices with Android 4.1–5.1 stay on 2.61.0.

What's new

Status

  • Router state, network status (IPv4/IPv6), uptime, traffic, tunnels and network database at a glance
  • Speed and tunnel graphs
  • Running services (HTTP/SOCKS proxy, SAM, BOB, I2CP, web console) as shortcuts to their settings
  • Start, restart, graceful stop (hold the button) with a countdown, and the web console in the app

Router settings

  • Basic settings grouped by topic, and every option of the i2pd build on its own tab
  • Text editor for i2pd.conf with validation; changes that need a restart are marked

Tunnels

  • Editor for all tunnel types with every parameter i2pd reads
  • Enable and disable tunnel files and single tunnels, add tunnels to an existing file
  • Copy B32/B33 addresses; changes apply without restarting the router

Torrents (i2pd 3.0.0)

  • Torrents tunnels with a built-in client: add by magnet link or .torrent file, start/stop (including all at once), progress, speeds, peers
  • Downloads go to the app folder on the memory card (or internal storage) without any permission; any other folder with "All files access"
  • "Save to…" copies a finished torrent to any folder; seeding continues
  • The i2pd torrents web interface is included

Data

  • Backup to a zip and restore, selectively by category
  • Import of data from the old app
  • File browser: upload, save, delete files and folders
  • Clearing the network database, profiles, address book; resetting certificates and configs to the bundled ones

Other

  • Start on boot, automatic restart after a crash, Quick Settings tile
  • Keep-awake modes: off, always, only while charging
  • Hints for firmwares with their own autostart manager
  • Log viewer with level filter, search and sharing
  • Optional screenshot blocking, light and dark themes
  • 17 languages; error messages explain the usual causes (no space, no access, no connection…)

Under the hood

  • i2pd 3.0.0, OpenSSL 3.5.9, Boost 1.89.0, miniupnpc 2.3.3, all built from source
  • Smaller APKs (arm64: 7.3 MB)
  • Reproducible builds: the same commit gives byte-identical APKs

Updating

Installs over 2.61.0. Settings and router data of older versions stay in /sdcard/i2pd and can be imported on first start or later in Settings → Data.
