unslop-windows v1.2.1

Added

  • Dedicated Windows 11 Engine (unslop-win11.ps1): Standalone, symmetrically named Windows 11 debloater and privacy hardening engine targeting Windows 11 25H2 (Build 26200+), 24H2 (Build 26100+), 23H2 (Build 22631), 22H2 (Build 22621) and 21H2 (Build 22000).
  • Bidirectional OS Build Gating (unslop-win11.ps1): Added pre-flight OS build guard validating build $\ge 22000$, providing actionable redirection to unslop-win10.ps1 when executed on Windows 10, accompanied by -SkipBuildCheck switch for CI and offline test harnesses.
  • Dedicated -Win11 CLI Parameter (unslop.bat, scripts/Test-MasterGate.ps1): Whitelisted -Win11 switch in unslop.bat and parameterized scripts/Test-MasterGate.ps1 to allow explicit headless testing of the Windows 11 engine.
  • Granular OS Version & Build Documentation: Replaced vague "all versions" text across all documentation (README.md, SECURITY.md, CONTRIBUTING.md, ROADMAP.md and LICENSE) with exact build tables, platform codenames (Germanium, Nickel, Sun Valley, Vibranium, Threshold, Redstone) and servicing schedules (Enterprise LTSC 2021/2019/2016/2015, IoT Enterprise LTSC).
  • Host OS Detection & Mismatch Warning (unslop.bat): Automatically queries HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\CurrentBuildNumber on startup, renders detected system information on the main selection menu, issues explicit warning prompts when an OS mismatch occurs (e.g., selecting Windows 10 while running Windows 11 or vice versa) with confirmation prompts, passes -SkipBuildCheck when explicitly confirmed by the user and emits informative warning notices in CLI mode.
  • Architectural Decision Record (docs/decisions.md): Documented ADR-023 detailing symmetrical dual-engine architecture, removal of unslop.ps1 and granular version documentation standard.

  • Removed Ambiguous unslop.ps1: Retired unslop.ps1 in favor of pure symmetrical dual standalone engines (unslop-win11.ps1 and unslop-win10.ps1) launched and elevated via unslop.bat.
  • Symmetrical Test Harnesses: Renamed tests/unslop.Tests.ps1 to tests/unslop-win11.Tests.ps1 to pair symmetrically with tests/unslop-win10.Tests.ps1.
  • Unified Batch Launcher Modernization (unslop.bat): Enforces presence of both unslop-win11.ps1 and unslop-win10.ps1, modernizes the interactive OS selection menu with exact release brackets and maintains CRLF integrity.
  • Release Documentation Alignment (.github/workflows/release.yml, README.md): Updated the "Quick Installation & Usage" release notes template and README usage steps to include the interactive OS selection step before preset selection.
  • CI / Automation Alignment (.github/workflows/lint.yml, release.yml): Updated JaCoCo code coverage paths and release archive bundle lists to package unslop.bat, unslop-win11.ps1 and unslop-win10.ps1.

Quick Installation & Usage

  1. Download unslop-windows-v1.2.1.zip from Assets below.
  2. Extract the archive to any directory.
  3. Right-click unslop.bat and choose Run as administrator (or double-click and accept the UAC elevation prompt).
  4. Select your operating system from the selection menu:
    • [1] Windows 11: Targets 25H2, 24H2, 23H2, 22H2, 21H2 (runs unslop-win11.ps1).
    • [2] Windows 10: Targets 22H2, 21H2, 20H2, Enterprise LTSC, Builds 10240-19045 (runs unslop-win10.ps1).
    • [0] Exit: Close the launcher.
  5. Choose an option from the OS feature menu:
    • [1] Full Debloat: Remove OneDrive, telemetry and provisioned bloatware.
    • [2] Gamer Preset: Debloat, keep Xbox & Gaming Services (-KeepXbox).
    • [3] Productivity Preset: Debloat, keep OneDrive & Microsoft To-Do (-KeepOneDrive -KeepTodos).
    • [4] Interactive Toggles: Configure custom feature combinations with visual toggle states.
    • [5] Safe Dry-Run Audit: Inspect all changes safely with zero system modifications (-DryRun).
    • [6] Full Restore / Undo: Symmetrically revert all tweaks back to defaults (-Undo).
    • [7] Custom CLI Flags: Manually enter parameter switches (e.g. -KeepTodos -KeepXbox -NoRestart).
    • [8] Back to OS Selection: Return to the main OS choice screen.
    • [0] Exit: Close the launcher.
