Docker

docker compose uses postgres for all and I use my version with PgAdmin - see docker/docker.compose.yml.

tables created in DB

sql crud works OK - tested with publisher and employee in slq_postgres folder

The following are used in Python CRUD in sql_postgres folder

POSTGRES_HOST = "host.docker.internal"
POSTGRES_USER = "postgres"
POSTGRES_PASSWORD = "postgres"
POSTGRES_DB = "postgres"

PyTest

works OK for SQLite

Tests for tests/01_postgres work OK using:

    conn = psycopg2.connect(
        database="postgres",
        user="postgres",
        password="postgres",
        host="host.docker.internal",
    )

as we get PASS for connecting and getting row count > 0 for employee table

pytest can't connect to DB using this postgresql://postgres:postgres@localhost:5432/postgres even with changes of localhost to host.docker.internal and 127.0.0.1

"postgresql://postgres:postgres@0.0.0.0:5432/postgres"

It is the SQLALchemy connection in conftest that does not work for some reason...
