Second-Hand Book Store

• It is an online website where customer can buy second hand books.
• Through this web project customer can search for the book, later add to the cart and finally purchase it.
• The books are divided into categories to make the search easier.
• The users give feedback about the books.

• The project is basically targeted at those people who would like to purchase and learn - books and have an internet access.
• Finally book lovers curious in comparing the price of books for their selected category.
• To make a database that is consistent, reliable and secure.
• To provide correct, complete and ongoing information.
• To develop a well-organized information storage system.
• To make good documentation so as to facilitate possible future enhancements.

System Overview

It allows registered users to do the following:

• Login
• Browse and query books based on price, title, and category
• Add books to shopping cart.
• Update quantity in shopping cart
• Remove books from shopping cart
• Finalize order for books in shopping cart
• See the status of orders placed in the past - orders history.
• Cancel an order, if status of the order is new.

Run Locally

Clone the project

  git clone https://github.com/Python-genius900/Second-Hand-Book-Store

go to the project directory

  cd Second-Hand-Book-Store

run the server

  python manage.py runserver
