NUMERATA develops a systematic framework for evaluating numeral systems along cognitive, educational, and design dimensions. Building on the QNFO Silent Radix programme's formal foundation, NUMERATA extends the analysis into embodied cognition (Lakoff & N'{u}~{n}ez), semiotic theory (Spencer-Brown), and comparative notation history (Chrisomalis).
How should numeral systems be evaluated? What dimensions matter, and what trade-offs exist between competing desiderata?
