Five days ago, we launched Qoder's preview. As of today, over 100,000 developers have already joined us on this journey.
We're honestly blown away. Not just by the numbers, but by what you've been building with Qoder. When we set out to create an agentic coding platform for real software, we knew we were tackling something ambitious. But the response has been beyond anything we imagined.
The thing that strikes us most isn't the download count—it's what's happening behind those downloads. You're not just kicking the tires on toy projects. You're diving headfirst into the messy, complex world of production codebases. Chrome extension debugging sessions that used to take hours now happen in minutes through Agent mode. Legacy Node.js projects getting migrated to Bun.js with Qoder handling all the compatibility headaches. Feature flag systems built from scratch using Quest Mode's autonomous planning. Even a fully playable Space Invaders game knocked out in 5 minutes. The kind of real software that makes most AI tools throw up their hands and give you generic suggestions.
And somehow, it's working.
What We're Learning From You
The feedback has been relentless—in the best possible way. Our community forum is buzzing with thousands of bug reports, feature requests, and stories from the trenches. Every single one matters to us, because this is how great tools get built: in the wild, with real developers facing real problems.
Some of the things you've told us:
"Finally, a tool that actually understands our legacy codebase."
"Quest Mode is a game-changer—I can delegate the heavy refactoring while I focus on architecture."
"Repo Wiki got our new team member up to speed in hours instead of weeks."
But you've also been refreshingly direct about what needs to be improved. The top ones you've raised:
-
WSL compatibility - Shipped yesterday, in v0.1.17
-
Terminal hiccups - Chat panel sometimes loses track of terminal state, and spawns too many terminals
-
Repo Wiki - You want more control: generate wikis for specific files, sync directly to Git, share within teams, and export
-
Plugin ecosystem - More language support and extension compatibilities
-
Credit consumption - Free Pro trial credits are burning through faster
-
Linux support - We hear you, and in our backlog
We're already diving into fixes for these. More importantly, we're committing to radical transparency about our roadmap going forward. You'll know exactly what we're working on and when to expect it.
What's Next
If you're already using Qoder, keep the feedback coming. It's making the product better every day. If you're curious but haven't tried it yet, now it's the time—we're still in preview, which means you get early access to everything we're building.
We've got a lot more coming.
Quest mode will undergo a comprehensive upgrade, including improved response speed, optimized experience interaction, and repair of some defects.
Repo Wiki is also a very popular feature that can help users quickly get started with new projects. The wiki mentioned by everyone supports online editing, sharing, exporting and other functions, which will be launched in the near future.
But for now, we just want to say thank you. For taking a chance on something new. For the honesty in your feedback. For showing us what's possible when an agentic coding platform actually understands real software.
This is just the beginning.
