Background

Pages that record why the codebase is shaped the way it is: the rationale behind the connection seam, the fork relationship to upstream, and the hardening waves on the web UI. These are design decisions and rationale rather than how-to instructions.

Sub-pages

  • Design decisions, the documented rationale: the AgentConnection seam language in CONTEXT.md, the deletion of the InteractiveModeLocalSessionHost backdoor (docs/adr/0001-kill-interactivemode-localsessionhost.md), the fork relationship to pi-mono and why the web UI stays separate, the OpenUI integration and web hardening waves (plans/), and the local-first web posture.
