Fixed

  • Pressing Back after following an in-page anchor no longer replaces a statically-built page with a bare "Application Error" screen. A myst build --html site still hydrates a live data router; React Router treats Back off #anchor (the hash being removed) as a real navigation and re-runs the loaders, a static host answers the ?_data= fetches with the page's HTML, and the next data.page read throws. root, routes/$ and routes/_index now export a shouldRevalidate that declines to re-run when neither pathname nor search changed (app/revalidate.ts). Every lecture page on a static host was one Back press from this (#186).
  • The "↑ Top" control is a plain href="#top" fragment link, as in the Sphinx build, instead of a router Link. Rendered server-side, the router link resolved #top against the un-slashed pathname and on deployed lecture pages went through a 301 and a full document reload -- losing scroll position and any live-compute session -- where every other in-page link scrolled (#186).

Changed

  • In myst start (app mode) a repeated click on the currently-active link no longer refetches the page's loader data: the three page loaders are pure functions of pathname and search, so the shouldRevalidate guard above applies in both modes (#186).
  • The Playwright harness gains a fourth server and a static-chrome project (tests/visual/static.spec.ts, serve-static.sh, static-server.mjs): a myst build --html of the fixture behind a plain file server, the deployed shape the myst start servers cannot exercise. It asserts no ?_data= fetch fires and the page survives Back after an outline entry and after "↑ Top" -- the third static-only defect in a row (#138, #150, #186) to have shipped unguarded (#186).

Dependencies

  • morgan 1.11.0 → 1.12.0 (#188).
