Long code inputs and long outputs collapse behind an Expand / Collapse bar, from the cell's tags: collapse-N caps the code input and collapse-output-N the cell's outputs at N + 0.5 em of the 18px text (369px for collapse-20, the height quantecon-book-theme gives that tag on the lecture sites). The bar and a fade at the foot of the capped content appear only while the content overflows, so a tagged cell that fits at the reader's width shows neither: the server renders the bar where the line count makes the overflow certain, and the browser measures images, HTML and wrapped lines. The bar is a button with aria-expanded and aria-controls, and collapsing brings the end of the region back into view. Printed, or read without JavaScript, nothing is capped. The scroll tags (scroll-output, output_scroll, scroll-input) are not rendered: the lectures rename them to collapse-output-24 when they move to this theme, as decided on QuantEcon/project-theme-parity#19 (#242) (#246).
