QuantaStream v0.1.1-rc2

Release candidate for the upcoming 0.1.1 maintenance release.

Changes Since v0.1.1-rc1

  • Added MySQL-compatible ALTER TABLE ... ADD COLUMN support.
  • Added catalog/schema mutation support for newly added columns.
  • Updated CATALOG_OBJECTS handling for column additions.
  • Added parser, runtime, single-node, and MySQL compatibility test coverage for ALTER TABLE ADD COLUMN.
  • Fixed stale view metadata after CREATE VIEW, CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW, and DROP VIEW.
  • Improved Tableau/Workbench-style flows where clients refresh metadata immediately after view DDL.

Validation Focus

Please focus testing on:

  • ALTER TABLE ... ADD COLUMN
  • CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW
  • Tableau metadata refresh
  • MySQL Workbench metadata refresh
  • Basic startup, restore, query, and loader smoke tests
