v1.6.4
Highlights
This release covers everything since v1.6.1: the Action Memory feature line, the extension popup rebuild, a screenshot/visual-inspection overhaul, the redesigned semantic model manager, and rebuilt store listing art.
Action Memory & extension
- Action Memory (opt-in): a local, vector-searchable record of what worked and what failed, so later sessions reuse confirmed routes — searched by meaning, self-correcting via chain lineage, with maintenance controls and a dashboard in the extension popup.
browser_runsteps are recorded as chains; memory tools are fully agent-usable. (#5) - Extension popup rebuilt on WXT + React with a Connection / Action Memory two-tab layout, consistent width, and in-popup Action Memory settings and dashboard.
- Privacy cleanup: removed unused Chrome permissions (bookmarks, notifications, readingList, sessions, topSites, favicon, downloads.ui).
Screenshots & visual inspection
- Screenshot results are now delivered inline as real images to OpenCode (tool attachments) and MCP clients (image content), so the model can actually see captures instead of receiving an artifact URI.
fullPage: false(default) captures the visible viewport;fullPage: truecaptures the entire scrollable page — with layout-metrics validation (no more silent viewport fallback), a 16384px dimension cap, and automatic jpeg compression for oversized captures. Capture geometry (width, height, scale, fullPage) is returned with every shot.browser_runscreenshot steps store an artifact plus compact capture metadata, keeping chain payloads lean.
Semantic page search
- Redesigned model manager in the popup: a proper toggle switch, per-model cards with size/dimensions/benchmarks, Ready / Not-downloaded badges, and per-model Download, Re-download, Use, and Delete actions with live download progress. Snowflake Arctic Embed XS remains the default.
- New model: Snowflake Arctic Embed M (108.9M params, 768 dims) as an optional active retrieval model; deep search keeps the Qwen3 0.6B embedding + reranker on demand. Any adaptive model can now be the active retrieval model (settings v4 with safe migration).
Privacy
- Verified and pinned by contract tests: no machine IDs, hostnames, usernames, MAC/hardware serials, install IDs, telemetry, or network egress anywhere in the shipped code. The release hygiene scan now detects telemetry endpoints and device-identifier lookups; the npm package and extension zip are scanned on every release.
Store & docs
- Rebuilt Chrome Web Store listing art with non-overlapping layouts: hero popup shot, semantic model cards shot, Action Memory dashboard shot (all 1280x800), a clean 440x280 small promo tile, and a new 1400x560 marquee tile.
scripts/compose-store-art.ps1was rewritten with a header-band + card layout, fade-cropped popups, and a bullet-file marquee mode. - README feature descriptions updated for the screenshot and semantic changes.
