v1.8.3 Release
This release comes with 4 Greer Timers.
In summary for all 4 timers, you press the hotkey when Greer / Ereg uses their specific attack, and press it again (whether in Split Phase or normal) when the attack is used again. Make sure you double check which Trigger Key each timer uses!
Greer, the Blightbringer Timers
These 2 timers display when Greer will next use the Blobs of Blight and Eruption of Rot attacks. These timers work for both Normal & Challenge modes.
To go into detail, Greer's Blobs of Blight and Eruption of Rot attacks are used roughly every 120 seconds (2 minutes). Greer generally respects the order of:
- Phase 1: (1st) Blobs of Blight, (2nd) Eruption of Rot
- Phase 2: (1st) Blobs of Blight, (2nd) Eruption of Rot
- Phase 3: (1st) Eruption of Rot, (2nd) Blobs of Blight
This does not always happen, and will get delayed if Greer's Scattering Sporeblast is baited and/or Greer uses his 2 melee swipes. Greer may also interrupt his double melee swipe to cast either of these skills; the double melee swipe attacks are not a strict "autoattack chain."
Ereg, the Enabler Timers
These 2 timers display when Ereg will next use the Blobs of Blight and Eruption of Rot attacks.
To go into detail, Ereg's Blobs of Blight and Eruption of Rot attacks are used roughly every 80 seconds. Ereg uses Blobs of Blight first (at ~20-24s into the fight) and Eruption of Rot second (at ~40s into the fight).
If one of these attacks are used when Greer is either phasing into Split Phases 1/2 OR if one of these attacks are used when both Reeg and Geer get to 50% during Split Phase 1, the attack will most likely be cancelled and Ereg will attempt to use this attack ASAP when they next can. This can also cause situations where the order is changed, or the attacks are used closer together than 20 seconds.
Additionally, Scattering Sporeblast is both a skill that can be baited by Ereg, Geer, and Reeg, but is also their "autoattack," which is usually led by 6-8 seconds of "nothing" after they use it. This can easily cause Blobs of Blight and Eruption of Rot to be used past the 80 second mark.
The goal of these timers is to empower you or your group to be far more proactive in preparing and dealing with these 2 attacks rather than being reactive. From the 60+ logs I've researched and my own experience with Greer CM, Blobs of Blight and Eruption of Rot are the 2 main attacks that both wipe groups, but more importantly cause multiple player downs / deaths and creates inconsistency.
