Numlex 4.6.0
What's new since 4.5.1
Modern app icon — rebuilt with the Icon Composer pipeline (Assets.car-based, system-native rendering in the Dock and Finder).
Regional number settings — per-region presets with grouping and compact-notation controls, opt-in paste conversion, and full decimal-comma / semicolon-region support; numeric formatting stays independent of the interface language.
Reorganized Settings — five compact native tabs (General, Editing, Numbers, Constants, Styling) with native switches and live previews.
Restrained motion — answers fade in when a result appears, values crossfade on change, and token bubbles get a short settle; all self-terminating and disabled under System Reduce Motion.
Reliable answer tokens — double-click insertion works on freshly created and switched sheets (previous versions dropped roughly half of the clicks), and a stationary multi-click run mints exactly one bubble per click pair.
Same-line answer clicks — double-clicking an answer while the caret sits on that same line now places the bubble on a new line directly below the source, instead of doing nothing.
Optional Total bar — a new "Show total bar" setting (General → Notebook) hides the sheet's bottom Total panel; inline total lines are unaffected.
Requirements
macOS 26 or later, Apple Silicon. The app is ad-hoc signed and not notarized: on first launch, Control-click (or right-click) Numlex.app, choose Open, and confirm the prompt.
