429 Free allocated quota exceeded

What happened?

Just a couple of hours ago, I started getting this error and i know i have not exceeded the free daily limit
"sign in with Qwen OAuth to get 1,000 free requests/day."

Has anything changed in RPD, RTD?

I tried with a new account, and after like 20+ requests, getting the below error too.

Looks like it is working only in qwen cli BUT not in VS Code IDE. Has something changed?

I tried disable and enable IDE in qwen and it didn't solve the 429 errors.

@yapnel Regarding the VS Code IDE extension issue, are you using the Qwen Code Official Extension? I’m not familiar with version 5.4.1 — that version number doesn’t look correct to me.

I'm using Kilo Code extension in VS Code configured with Qwen provider and the error shows up. I have also tested the Qwen Code Official Extension and that seems to be fine.

Looks like Qwen limits reqests by Api (maybe 10-20 per day??) from other instruments exept cli or his native ide extension. At same time: roocode 429, opencode 429, cli ok, native qwen ide extension (Qwen Code Companion) оk.

Looks like similar effort by anthropic blocking 3rd party tooling. It will limit the adoption of qwen IMO.
