- R3CT Collector is now R3CT Collection! I've officially changed the name of the mod. This change was primarily made to improve searchability on platforms like Modrinth and CurseForge, making it much easier for players and modpack creators to find. Plus, "Collection" simply fits the core theme perfectly - it's all about building your ultimate, complete catalog of items!
✨ New Features & Integrations
- JEI Integration: The Catalog now fully supports Just Enough Items (JEI)! You can instantly look up item recipes and uses directly from the Collector's book, making completing your collection smoother than ever.
- Bulk Submission: Got a chest full of items? You can now submit items in bulk! This highly requested feature will save you tons of clicks and time.
🎨 UI & Visual Enhancements
- Refreshed Interface: The entire Catalog UI has received a sleek visual overhaul for a cleaner and more modern look.
- Smart Submission Indicators: Added brand new visual markers to the interface. The game now clearly highlights when you have items in your inventory that are ready to be handed over!
⚖️ Config & Reward Rebalance
- Worthwhile Rewards: Reward configs have been completely rebalanced. Submitting items is now much more rewarding and properly compensates you for your hard work!
- Updated Blacklists: The default configuration has been updated to automatically blacklist missing or unobtainable vanilla items, ensuring you never get stuck on an impossible category.

- Safe Item Submission: Submitting items is smarter than ever! If the mod detects that the item you are trying to submit has enchantments or a custom name, it will now prompt you with a brand new Confirmation Screen to prevent accidental loss of your valuable gear.
- Item Selection Menu: If you have multiple different variations of the same item in your inventory (e.g., a brand new sword and a damaged one), the game will now open a dedicated Item Selection Screen, allowing you to pick exactly which one you want to hand over.
- Smart Item Grouping: Inside the new selection menu, identical items (like multiple stacks of standard oak planks) are intelligently grouped together into a single option. The UI will also display the combined total amount of those items for a cleaner look.

This patch brings visual customization to the Collector's Book and tidies up the internal project structure for better organization.
- Action Required: Your old settings and custom rewards will not carry over automatically. You will need to manually port your custom settings into the new JSON files. Please check the new file and review the updated Official Wiki for the new color settings!
🎨 Visuals:
- Colorful Rewards: Added support for standard Minecraft color codes (e.g.,
&a,&b,&d) in ther3ct_collector_rewards.jsonconfiguration file. Milestone rewards displayed in the Info tab—including their item names and quantity brackets—will now proudly reflect their customized rarity colors!
⚙️ Under the Hood:
- Internal Config Restructure: Cleaned up the internal
.jarresource structure by moving default configuration files from theassetsfolder intoconfigfolder. This keeps the mod's technical files separated from visual assets, while generating exactly the same way for server owners.
