Release v1.0.0 — Initial Public Release

First stable release of PyNet Platform Bridge (MCP). This version establishes the base infrastructure for real-time communication between AI models and Autodesk desktop applications.

Core Features

  • MCP Protocol: Full implementation for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cline, Roo Code and Codex.
  • Security Layer: Built-in static analyzer to validate and filter scripts before execution.
  • Orchestration: Automatic detection and management of Navisworks, Revit, and Civil 3D instances.
  • Automation Tools: Dynamic deployment of Ribbon modules, tabs, and script buttons.

Installation

A Windows installer (.exe) is provided. It will:

  • Install pynet-mcp-bridge via uv (or pip as fallback).
  • Auto-detect and configure all compatible AI clients.
  • Show a summary of configured clients on completion.
  • Register an uninstaller that removes the package and cleans up all client configurations.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 / 11.
  • Python 3.10 – 3.13.
  • PyNet Platform Plugin installed in the host application.
