This release marks the current 4D SU3 pure-gauge kernel as the active advanced HK-core path while keeping the December 2025 2D U1 result as the validated baseline.

Included

• Cabibbo-Marinari SU2-subgroup heatbath plus overrelaxation is now the default SU3 update path (MILL_UPDATE=hb_or).
• Plain Metropolis remains available only as an explicit comparison/diagnostic mode.
• Effective-mass plateau extraction rejects negative mass windows as invalid physical plateaus.
• Documentation and the manual runner now point to the SU3 master workflow.

Validation

• Local cargo test --release -- --nocapture: 18/18 passed.
• Included regression asset: beta5p5_seed944_heatbath_positive_plateau_regression.json.
• Regression status: inconclusive, with ir_width=0 after the positive-mass plateau gate.

Scope

This is a kernel validation release. It is not a final Yang-Mills mass-gap claim.

HK-core (baseline 2D U(1), AGPL)

Canonical baseline release (tag points to master): 2D U(1) MILL with IR-Lmax (stat) verdict mode.
