Config for Waveshare ESP32-S3-RS485-CAN

Not sure if anyone has tried this board yet and I can mooch off their yaml - If not I have one coming this weekend and will share.

Do you use an external antenna on any of them? I use the Lilygo T-Connect Pro Lite for yamBMS which is great bc it's has an ethernet port - But also don't want to wait 3 weeks to get one from CN. All my solar monitoring stuff is inside a wireway so internal antenna has no hope, but maybe external antenna will if I shove it out a knock out or something temporarily.

Will for sure put together a config for the Lilygo once I get one.

I don't but I popped one open and it looks like it has a connector for it, so should be doable.

What's the sizing recommendation for PSRAM? I have 66 optimizers, 5 TAPs and the CCA - Does all that fit in 8M PSRAM? I have a ESP32-P4 dev board somewhere with 32M so if the ESP32-S3-RS485-CAN can't hack it i will give that a try.

You should be fine with 8. I have 40 optimizers, single TAP and its barely touching it.

Ok, maybe i'm stupid but I got this setup and it doesn't seem to discover any nodes/devices - I previously had my CCA wired into a ETH to RS485 converter for TAPTAP so I'm pretty sure that part is right :)

Yep that worked great - Now i'm getting data populated for each optimzier.

It ran for about 5mins then rebooted with this error - is this the same thing that is fixed in next, or something else?
