DuoBar v2.7.2 Beta 3 (RootHide + Rootless)
RootHide and standard Rootless community-test builds based on the v2.7.1 release. Choose the package that matches the jailbreak. Do not install both variants.
This beta draws the compact 5G/LTE carrier label inside DuoBar in app status bars and Control Center. It also refreshes and covers status icons synchronously when UIKit rebuilds the status bar during rotation or Control Center transitions, preventing the stock battery from flashing back. The Wi-Fi and Personal Hotspot marks remain in the ring, and the released settings, size slider, battery percentage, cellular dots, and Control Center behavior are retained.
Install DuoBar_2.7.2-beta3_RootHide.deb on Dopamine RootHide, or DuoBar_2.7.2-beta3_Rootless.deb on standard Dopamine Rootless, then respring. Do not install both packages. Use docs/TEST-v2.7.2-beta3.md for the device checks. Compilation and package contents are verified; live iPhone behavior still needs testing.
Both packages are prereleases for community testing. The stable/Sileo release remains unchanged until device testing is complete.
DuoBar v2.7.2 Beta 2 (RootHide)
RootHide test build based on the v2.7.1 release.
Install the attached DuoBar_2.7.2-beta2_RootHide.deb with a RootHide-compatible package manager and respring. Use docs/TEST-v2.7.2-beta2.md for the device checks. Compilation and package contents are verified; live iPhone behavior still needs testing.
Rootless packaging and the stable/Sileo release are deferred until this RootHide beta is tested.
DuoBar v2.7.2 Beta 1 (RootHide)
RootHide test build based on the v2.7.1 release.
This beta draws the compact 5G/LTE carrier label inside DuoBar in app status bars and Control Center. The Wi-Fi and Personal Hotspot marks remain in the ring, and the released settings, size slider, battery percentage, cellular dots, and Control Center behavior are retained.
Install the attached DuoBar_2.7.2-beta1_RootHide.deb with a RootHide-compatible package manager and respring. Use docs/TEST-v2.7.2-beta1.md for the device checks. Compilation and package contents are verified; live iPhone behavior still needs testing.
Rootless packaging and the stable/Sileo release are deferred until this RootHide beta is tested.
DuoBar v2.7.1 — RootHide + Rootless
DuoBar v2.7.1 — RootHide + Rootless
Same DuoBar features, new version number. This release uses 2.7.1 instead of the previous 0.2.7 version scheme.
DuoBar combines a live battery percentage, Wi-Fi, and cellular signals into one compact circular status-bar indicator, with adjustable size (70–140%), charging and Low Power Mode colors, Personal Hotspot support, Control Center fixes, and convenient Settings options.
Install / upgrade
In Sileo, refresh RBx9 Repo (https://rbx9.github.io/) and choose the package matching your jailbreak:
| iOS 16 jailbreak | Package | Architecture | Installer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dopamine RootHide | local.duobar |
iphoneos-arm64e |
RootHide .deb |
| Standard Dopamine Rootless | local.duobar.rootless |
iphoneos-arm64 |
Rootless .deb |
Respring after installation. The two editions have distinct package IDs and undergo separate architecture and file-layout checks. Standard Rootless still needs independent real-device verification.
This release only updates the version number; it does not extend support to other iOS versions.

DuoBar iOS 26 — Experimental Rootless Beta 1
DuoBar iOS 26 — Experimental Rootless Test
This is an unverified compatibility prototype, not a stable release.
Dopamine 3 provides a standard Rootless jailbreak on selected A12/A13 iPhones running iOS 26.0 or 26.0.1. This separate package is not intended for all iOS 26 devices, newer iPhones without compatible jailbreaks, or devices running 26.1+.
How this prototype works
The iOS 16 DuoBar codebase is rebuilt as a separate Rootless package named DuoBar (iOS 26 Experimental), with a different package ID: local.duobar.ios26. Its installation is restricted by firmware dependencies to 26.0–26.0.1.
The loader checks the running OS and the presence of every required private UIKit battery/status-bar method before enabling any hooks. If Apple changed an essential class or selector, DuoBar stays inactive instead of hiding the stock indicators. The system log will show a [DuoBar iOS26 Beta] compatibility message.
Compiling and checking the iOS package does not establish functional support for iOS 26. Private status-bar views and Liquid Glass layout have not been validated. The experimental package is built against the available iOS 16.5 SDK; runtime compatibility still has to be demonstrated on a device.
Installation
- Requires a compatible standard Dopamine Rootless jailbreak on a supported iOS 26.0–26.0.1 device.
- Install DuoBar_0.2.8-iOS26-Rootless-Beta1.deb through a Rootless-compatible package manager.
- Respring. Check Settings → DuoBar; the version should show
0.2.8 iOS 26 Beta 1. - Test battery %, Wi-Fi, cellular, charging, Control Center, Personal Hotspot, landscape and dark/light backgrounds. Try 70% and 140% sizes.
- If the stock indicators stay unchanged, report the OS/build/model and the
[DuoBar iOS26 Beta]log line, as this likely means a private iOS 26 class or selector changed. - If SpringBoard crashes, boot into a tweak-disabled/safe mode and uninstall
local.duobar.ios26.
This test package is deliberately NOT listed in the public RBx9 Sileo source yet. Existing RootHide and Rootless iOS 16 releases stay unchanged. Wait for real-device confirmation before describing DuoBar as supported on iOS 26.
How to help
Use Settings → DuoBar → Report a Bug to prepare an email to Rmbx998@gmail.com. Include device model, exact iOS version and a screenshot or screen recording if possible. Report any status-bar crashes or safe-mode entries.
