Version: 1.1.0 (minor release)

It's a minor version bump because this adds significant new features (Markdown parser, settings system, GIF export, search BFS expansion, compaction) with no breaking changes to the existing API or CLI interface. Everything that worked in 1.0.0 still works identically.

  • Markdown/Obsidian Parser — .md/.mdx support with wiki-links ([[Page]]), embeds (![[Page]]), YAML frontmatter (tags, aliases), heading extraction. Obsidian-style vault-wide BFS resolution. Node types: file, MOC, daily, readme. (ADR-003)
  • Next.js Detection — TypeScript parser detects App Router (route.ts, page.tsx, layout.tsx) and Pages Router (pages/api/) with dedicated node types and colors
  • Search Filter with BFS Depth Expansion — Matching nodes expand via configurable depth slider to reveal connected data flow paths. Hide/Dim mode toggle. Works in all layout modes including force-directed.
  • Hub-Centric Compaction — Manual Compact button gravitates filtered nodes toward the most-connected hub. Single hub stays pinned; tied hubs meet at their average position.
  • Settings System — Full settings page with localStorage persistence. Configurable edge labels (show/hide per type, color picker, font size), graph options (minimap, animations), search defaults. Per-category and global reset.
  • GIF Export — 1-second animated GIF (30fps) capturing edge flow animation with progress overlay, spinner, and percentage bar. Canvas interactions disabled during export.
  • Clickable Minimap — Zoom and pan directly on the minimap
  • Resizable Sidebar — Drag handle on left edge to resize. Four tabs: Graph, API, Trace, Settings.
  • Export Dropdown — PNG, SVG, JSON, GIF in a single dropdown replacing individual buttons

Bug Fixes

  • Force-directed layout now properly hides/dims filtered nodes
  • Directory layout nodes un-nested to absolute positions before compaction
  • Stale edges from hidden nodes eliminated via finalNodeIds safety check
  • Trace click no longer triggers unwanted node sliding
  • FlowTracerPanel Unicode arrows (Back/Next) rendered correctly

  • Updated PRD — Phase 3 marked complete, features F27–F33 added
  • Updated SAD — new parser, UI architecture, export system, node color table
