Changes
Review pane and comments (#78)
- Refreshing the review pane keeps your scroll position, including on large diffs that load file by file. Files you have already loaded stay loaded and update in place.
- Saved review comments in the review pane and the file preview can be edited. An edited comment keeps its place in the composer.
- Pending comments in a pull request review can be edited before you submit the review. A comment rewritten while a review is being submitted stays pending for the next review instead of being discarded.

Resulting changes
Agents, providers, and orchestration
- Agents can watch a pull request and wake when checks, reviews, or conflicts need attention. Watchers read paginated review replies.
- T3 MCP tools accept explicit thread and project targets, and providers share MCP tool presentation.
- Delegated review rounds stay on the task API. Subagents do not inherit their parent's pull-request links.
- Restarts preserve delegated tasks, queued threads, stop requests, and settled state. Merged threads remain settled after provider wake events.
- Working timers survive background wakes. Threads remain working while Claude starts a wake turn, and background notifications queue during active tools.
- Stop interrupts Claude commands and ends lingering Codex commands or dev servers after settlement or provider switches.
- Claude model changes preserve running background agents. Claude recovers from self-entered plan mode and from stuck background commands.
- Claude discovers commands per workspace, handles scalar skill frontmatter, and reports skill names and subagent models correctly. Codex resumes archived native sessions and avoids API-key startup warnings and undefined auth-token fields. OpenCode reasoning labels have a fallback.
- Earlier app agent transcript pages are restored. Next-turn steering retains the newest selection.
- Shared keyed locks release idle entries. SQLite transactions wait for the write lock.
Connections, environments, and runtime
- One environment can be reached over multiple routes, including discovered LAN and tailnet addresses.
- Reconnects use jittered backoff while preserving healthy sockets. Closing a busy stream preserves the connection, and relay disconnects do not become thread errors.
- T3 Connect fixes colliding prepared statements, and subagent threads stop sending relay tombstones.
- New-thread keyboard controls can select the next machine. No-project drafts can switch machines, and clients share opening a machine's No project folder.
- Slow editor discovery eventually updates the client. Outdated servers can be updated even when the client cannot connect.
- Provider installs expose one-click updates. Manual update commands match the installed CLI and proven npm prefix.
- CLI launch validation rejects accidental server starts. Saving symlinked settings preserves the link.
- Linux device hubs recover their runtime directory. Media paths support home-relative paths.
- Idle shells stop reloading every project once a minute. Background dev servers no longer falsely mark threads as waiting.
Pull requests and source control
- Hold Shift for GitHub pull-request quick actions. Close batches by dragging across rows, cancel before release with Escape, and queue actions safely.
- Concurrent GitHub routing metadata probes share active reads.
- Linked pull requests open correctly. Issue links show a useful not-found state in the pull-request viewer.
- Forgejo mergeability no longer implies a conflict without evidence. Commit-message generation preserves staged changes.
- Azure DevOps uses its correct mark.
Web and desktop interface
- Mermaid fenced blocks render as diagrams. Timeline shell commands and tool inputs receive syntax highlighting.
- Tool calls show their call above a muted result. Expanded calls expose their output, and empty calls do not expand. Work logs lose nested indentation.
- Command palette results are virtualized. DOM updates avoid restyling the whole page, and monospace fonts are validated when selected.
- Sidebar buttons can be swept to settle, un-settle, or wake threads. Draft threads gain a context menu, and unsent drafts can open the thread picker.
- Keyboard fixes restore background new-thread creation, support sending and opening a new thread, and clear stale chat action shortcuts.
- Sending to older threads preserves scroll position. New worktree threads stop flickering. Unseen shell completion remains visible.
- Working sections keep their order while agents finish or wake. Subagent cards show the provider account, match finish notifications, and show follow-ups as running.
- Thread details show the remote machine. Thinking rows after failed tools expand their tool calls.
- Composer and panel action icons morph between states. Model pickers size to their content, thread info panels lose the square shadow, and icons align correctly.
- Sidebar branding, build pills, and breadcrumbs behave better at different font sizes, zoom levels, and collapse states. Secondary hovering pointers reveal sidebar actions. Unpin hover shows the pin-off icon.
- Imported themes keep switches and focus rings visible. Thread status dots and legacy sidebar options have accessible labels.
- Workspace panels stay below dialogs and dock beside chat on narrow windows. Draft composer spacing is reduced.
- Timeline tooltips dismiss on scroll. Provider update details open from both icons, and device diagnostics appear before hub readiness.
- Browser automation clicks preserve composer focus. Project actions open previews correctly, and preview mute and Woke dismissal synchronize.
- Desktop dark-mode browser tabs render markdown visibly. The app prints its version before initialization and keeps titlebar controls inset when zoomed.
- V2 desktop imports recover stashed prompts and drafts from the V1 profile.
- Desktop preview inspector object retention is bounded, and renderer identity/history is recorded for diagnostics.
- Failed workspace preparation can be retried.
Mobile
- Back navigation from agents and finished subagents returns to their parent thread.
- iOS threads keep scroll position, and the final line of markdown replies stays visible.
- Subagent details are complete. Failed sends show their reason, and queued message removal is tappable.
- Dictation survives navigation with an edge control; its timer keeps a stable width.
- Full-screen simulator viewing exposes controls on demand.
- The beta Working section hides busy threads until they need attention. Expired Live Activities do not leave duplicate cards.
- Android usage widgets load correctly in release builds. Production OTAs cannot reach store binaries from the previous major version.
- Uniwind is upgraded and its local patch removed.
Usage reporting
- Cost is shown by token type, with speed and model details.
- Codex Fast and Ultrafast pricing matches billing. Preview model IDs fold into their underlying model.
- Model shares and ordering follow the selected metric.
- Warm scans are faster on large histories.
Development, tests, CI, and release tooling
- Documentation, development scripts, and CI are updated for orchestration V2.
- Worktree setup preserves real environment files, and bootstrap warnings go directly to stderr.
- Fake provider/process CLIs become fixture files, exit with their parent, and are cleaned up after tests. ACP tests wait for prompt settlement, and replay coverage checks reported subagent models.
- Lint rejects tests declared inside loops and CSS
:has()variants that restyle the whole page. - Nightly Discord announcements include release changelogs, and nightly clients point to the beta mobile app.
- Triage exemptions are updated, redundant thread-sort tests are removed, and a duplicate Option import that broke upstream CI is fixed.
- Dependency, patch, license, and mobile fingerprint configuration changes accompany the imported features.
Upstream changes later reverted
- Automatic compaction before resume was introduced and then removed. It is absent from the final merge.
- Automatic repair of unclosed local file links was introduced and then removed. It is absent from the final merge. Descriptive file-link label preservation remains.
Fork behavior preserved and merge adaptations
- Preserve Gitea/Forgejo integrations, inline reviews, review mentions, review progress, whitespace filters, dependency navigation, CI runs/reruns, viewed-file handling, and scoped pull-request refreshes.
- Preserve Vim navigation, its settings and shortcuts, diff search/highlighting, terminal editors including Neovim, saved editor choices, and remote editor dispatch.
- Preserve SSH runtime reuse/recovery, cancellation and remote-server lease behavior, daemon diagnostics, pinned runtime validation/reinstallation, runtime pruning, and migration trial recovery.
- Preserve low-disk warnings on web/desktop and mobile, along with RTVision package/registry configuration, versions, release workflows, and packaging.
- Adopt upstream's shared merge-setting resolver and quick-action layout. Retain Gitea's checks access without requiring a host-provided rollup, review-request labels, and Gitea browser-link fallbacks.
- Combine upstream pending slash-command discovery with the fork's atomic workspace-scan baseline/ownership capture and token-specific cleanup.
- Carry the upstream pull-request head SHA into details while retaining dynamic fork capabilities and dependency metadata.
- Fold disk-warning updates and recovery into upstream's late-editor snapshots, preventing an old warning from reappearing.
- Recognize both
t3and@rtvision/t3npm installations for ownership checks. Keep manual update commands pointed at RTVision's package and registry....
RTVision T3 Code 0.0.68
RTVision T3 Code 0.0.68
This release brings upstream's new orchestrator to RTVision, with saved message queues, richer thread context, and more ways to recover interrupted work.
- Queued messages are saved on the server. Edit, reorder, or remove them above the composer, or steer a supported running turn. After a server restart, the queue stays held until you choose Resume.
- Attach another thread as context by typing
@and its title, or dragging it from the sidebar. The agent retrieves that thread's history when needed. References stay within the same server. - Continue interrupted or limited turns with Resume. When a provider reports its reset time, use Resume at reset or enable Auto-resume limited threads in Settings → General. The server must be running to continue work; overdue continuations resume after a restart.
- Follow delegated work in Agents. Subagent questions and approvals appear in the parent thread. Expand activity summaries to inspect commands, status, and tool inputs.
- Add providers from the official ACP Registry in Settings → Providers, including Antigravity. OpenCode 2 is supported, and Cursor can sign in through the app while connected to a remote environment.
RTVision's Gitea reviews and CI tools, PR dependency navigation, diff search, Vim navigation, Neovim terminal editors, WSL/SSH connections, and low-disk warnings carry forward. Windows links and image paths stay intact, and Claude MCP activity shows tool names and icons. Failed background-server upgrades preserve the legacy database and stop an uncertain migration from being reused. Linux downloads include both AppImage and Debian packages.
Update your desktop app and every local or remote server together. Older clients and servers cannot connect across this protocol change. Settings → Connections identifies the machine that needs updating. See the update guide for remote and command-line installations.
Older threads appear automatically; large transcripts may load in stages. Their first new message starts a fresh provider session with selected conversation context. Old checkpoints, diffs, tool activity, approvals, and plans are not carried into the new timeline. The original history is preserved separately, but conversations written after migration do not sync between versions. The desktop app uses a separate browser profile, so embedded websites may require signing in again. Back up important server data and read the thread migration guide before continuing important older threads.
Desktop installers are unsigned. Node installations use @rtvision/t3 from https://npm-registry.rtvision.com/.
On Alpine/musl, manual npm installs need npm_config_build_from_source=true for node-pty. Managed service updates already set it. Linux npm installs retain an existing limitation in native resource telemetry because the bundled monitor lacks execution permission.
RTVision T3 Code 0.0.67
This release fixes Gitea pull request files failing to mark as viewed after a branch update (#77). On supported Gitea hosts, open pull requests now compare the current base with Gitea's mirrored PR head, keeping the displayed files consistent with the viewed-file API. Expanded diff context uses contents that match the displayed patch.
Changes since 0.0.66:
- Create a new project by entering a name in the command palette. T3 creates its folder and Git repository and opens a thread.
- Restart an agent session from the command palette to load new skills and plugins.
- Update outdated providers across connected environments with Settings → Providers → Update all.
- Enable Working section (beta) in General settings to fold busy threads until they finish or need input.
- Composer undo now separates typing, deleting, and clipboard edits. PR check labels fit narrow headers.
- Desktop browser markdown pages remain readable in dark mode, and agent-triggered downloads no longer open Save dialogs.
- Provider refreshes keep newer results authoritative. Broken cached runtimes are reinstalled safely, and GitHub background polling batches requests.
Downloads include Windows x64 and Linux x64 desktop installers, standalone CLI archives, and the Node-based @rtvision/t3@0.0.67 package. Desktop installers are unsigned. Desktop and standalone updates use this GitHub release; Node/npm and Alpine/OpenRC installations use https://npm-registry.rtvision.com/.
On musl hosts, manual npm installation requires npm_config_build_from_source=true. T3 service installation and updates build node-pty from source automatically.
RTVision T3 Code 0.0.66
This release lets you start threads without a project, adds support for Codex 0.159 and Codex Pro Max accounts, and fixes Claude /compact leaving a thread busy. It brings in 25 upstream T3 Code changes. RTVision's Gitea, GitLab, pull request, editor, Vim, low disk space, and Codex workspace usage features are unchanged.
New
- Start a thread without a project. Press
mod+alt+nor use the command palette. The thread gets its own folder under a Scratch project, so you can ask a quick question or try something without picking a repository. Mobile's new-task flow supports it too. - Codex 0.159 and Pro Max. Codex Pro Max accounts now load, so Ultrafast appears for them, shown with a double-bolt icon.
- OpenCode Go usage limits from machines that share one API key now show as one account instead of duplicates.
Fixes
- Claude:
/compactno longer ends early and leaves the thread busy. - Grok recovers from crashed sessions, and Grok CLIs older than 1.0.13 are marked broken.
- Composer suggestions work with screen readers.
- Dark+ and Light+ theme imports no longer collide with the built-in themes.
- Badges on threads with several pull requests open the linked pull requests panel.
- Workspace root links open in the file explorer.
- User-input timeline rows show the agent's question.
- Model ids in inline code no longer turn into file chips.
- Diff file names are no longer clipped, and command menu descriptions use the full row width.
- Disconnected environments are hidden when adding a project.

RTVision T3 Code 0.0.65
This release adds GPT-6.1 Sol and Claude Sonnet 5.5, lets you connect a ChatGPT plan directly, and fixes a terminal crash on Alpine. It brings in 12 upstream T3 Code changes. RTVision's Gitea, GitLab, pull request, editor, Vim, and Codex workspace usage features are unchanged.
New
- GPT-6.1 Sol and Claude Sonnet 5.5. GPT-6.1 Sol replaces GPT-6 Sol as a current Codex model.
- Connect a ChatGPT plan without the Codex CLI. Sign in with OpenAI from onboarding or provider settings. Each account gets its own provider instance, so personal and work accounts stay separate. For a remote environment, sign in from the primary environment and the credentials transfer to the selected one. Existing Codex CLI providers keep working.
- Save Bitbucket credentials in Settings → Source Control. Choose an access token or an Atlassian API token. The environment variables still work when nothing is saved.
Fixes
- Alpine/musl: opening a terminal no longer crashes the service. node-pty is now built from source on musl hosts, and the service preflight spawns a test terminal, so a broken update is rejected and the current version keeps running.
- Windows terminals start again after the node-pty upgrade, and the PTY helper no longer crashes in watch mode.
- OpenCode: stopping a turn interrupted before submission no longer hangs, and OpenCode v2 is marked incompatible.
- Usage is kept for oversized transcript records.
- Local-path remotes no longer crash legacy pull request link handling.
- Linux desktop URL handlers show the app icon, and the sidebar pull request badge is aligned.
