Biodex 1.0.0 — first public release.

Android app: biodex.apk. Allow installs from unknown sources, install, then enter your server's address at first launch.

iPhone: no app — open your server's address in Safari, Share → Add to Home Screen.

Server: clone the repository (or download the source ZIP below), then follow the README, section "Host your own server". The species data is a separate download, see the donnees-v1 release — one command fetches it.

What's in it: one slot per accepted species (977 415), recognition by MegaDetector + BioCLIP 2, Pl@ntNet for plants, FungiTastic for fungi; friends, feed, reactions, map, 82 achievements, 50 ranks, 17 themes with 13 animated backdrops, dex arrangement, English and French.

Data pack v1

Data pack v1 — everything a Biodex server needs besides the code: the species database without any player (977 415 slots), the encoded catalogues for BioCLIP 2 (animals, plants, fungi, aquatic), the MegaDetector weights, the silhouettes and the sources of the dex.

Install it with one command from backend/:

The script reads manifeste.json, downloads each file, checks its size and checksum, and puts it where the server expects it. See the README, section "Host your own server".
