[0.4.0] — 2026-07-11

Added

  • Network Topology view — a visual graph of device connections per site, automatically laid out from your existing port connections. Search, category filters, click-to-focus, and a connection detail panel. Accessible via the Navigate menu.
  • CSV import — bring in sites, racks, and devices from an existing spreadsheet instead of starting from a blank slate. Available from the Import/Export menu.
  • First-use guided tour — a skippable walkthrough of the dashboard's core actions on first login; replay it anytime from the account menu.
  • Rack Overview — see every rack in a site side-by-side in one read-only view instead of one at a time.
  • IPAM subnet overlap detection — the Subnets tab now flags subnets whose address ranges collide with each other, in addition to the existing per-IP duplicate check.
  • (Hosted/SaaS) Maintenance reminder emails — organisation admins now receive an email digest when maintenance items are due or overdue.

Changed

  • The self-hosted and hosted dashboards now share a single implementation, so features no longer drift between the two. This release also brought the two back in sync — several menu items, plan-gating checks, and controls that had drifted were reconciled, including mobile Export/Import options, the Audit Log locked state, the Dark Mode toggle, License expiry styling, and the per-site Floor Plan button.
  • The Home button now takes you to a proper overview screen instead of doing nothing when you're already on the dashboard.

Fixed

  • Windows installer: a repeat install/repair run could fail with error 1073 (service already registered) — the installer now stops and removes any existing service registration before reinstalling.
  • Fresh installs could never log in — a new standalone install starts with zero accounts, but the only account-creation screen required already being logged in as admin, an unbreakable lockout. First run now shows a dedicated "Create Admin Account" screen instead of the normal login form.
  • Machine ID not displaying on the License Management page in standalone mode — the endpoint required a session mechanism that standalone doesn't use, so the field silently hung on "…" forever.
  • Rack Overview no longer shows edit/drag controls that didn't actually do anything.
  • Various security hardening improvements to session handling, audit logging, and account data exposure.
