@Rammeshgar Rammeshgar released this 30 Aug 02:54

Seneschal v0.2.1 beta 10

This update isolates model selection by session. Choosing a model in one conversation no longer changes the model shown or used by every other conversation.

Switching away from a busy session does not abort it. Seneschal keeps its status active in the sidebar and now states clearly that the work continues in the background. Model choices made through the command palette are also labelled as current-session changes.

Visible browser mode now targets the exact Playwright launcher configured in OpenCode and restarts only that MCP connection. It no longer disposes the whole OpenCode instance or aborts unrelated sessions when the Brave window mode changes.

The release retains confirmed deletion controls, visible agent-controlled Brave mode, pinned-session and pinned-message shelves, reversible archives, Settings-based session restoration, Plan/Build/Chat roles, approval controls, instruction and skill editing, voice input, JSON attachment normalization, and optional Blender integration.

Before installing, read the requirements and known limits in the README. Provider accounts, OpenCode, Playwright dependencies, and Blender integrations are not bundled. Existing OpenCode configuration is preserved.

Seneschal v0.2.1 beta 9

This update adds deliberate deletion controls across the workspace without risking project files.

Sessions—including pinned and archived sessions—now have a permanent Delete action backed by OpenCode's session deletion endpoint. Messages have a confirmed local Delete action that removes them from Seneschal on the current device; OpenCode does not expose safe single-message deletion, so the confirmation states clearly that its source transcript is unchanged. Projects can be removed from Seneschal's sidebar without deleting their folder, files, or OpenCode sessions, and adding the same project again restores it.

Browser tasks started from Seneschal now enable the visible agent-controlled Brave window before sending the task. If an older background backend is still active, Seneschal blocks the task and tells the user to restart once instead of silently running the browser headlessly.

The release retains pinned-session and pinned-message shelves, reversible archives, Settings-based session restoration, Plan/Build/Chat roles, approval controls, instruction and skill editing, voice input, JSON attachment normalization, and optional Blender integration.

Before installing, read the requirements and known limits in the README. Provider accounts, OpenCode, Playwright dependencies, and Blender integrations are not bundled. Existing OpenCode configuration is preserved.

@Rammeshgar Rammeshgar released this 29 Aug 02:50

Seneschal v0.2.1 beta 8

Seneschal is the renamed public beta of the custom OpenCode workspace for Windows and WSL.

It includes Plan, Build, and Chat roles; approval controls; model and thinking selectors; instruction and skill editing; attachments; voice input; session navigation; and optional browser and Blender status surfaces.

This update adds persistent session pinning in a dedicated collapsible sidebar section, reversible local session archiving with a Settings-based restore manager, per-conversation message pinning, reversible local message archiving, and independent compact controls for Projects, pinned sessions, Sessions, and pinned messages. It also adds a visible-window switch for Seneschal's actual Playwright Brave bridge, so browser automation can be watched when needed. Changing visibility restarts only that bridge and applies on the next browser action.

The Desktop shortcut continues to open its authenticated workspace directly in Brave, including when the background server is already running or still starting.

Workspace Pulse continues to use fixed six-second columns that separate genuine model/tool work from ambient connection and status events. The release also includes privacy-safe public visuals and a clearer README.

The installer continues to migrate compatible local instructions and legacy agent identity files safely.

Before installing, read the requirements and known limits in the README. Provider accounts, OpenCode, browser automation, and Blender integrations are not bundled. Existing OpenCode configuration is preserved.

The installer continues to migrate compatible local instructions and legacy agent identity files safely.

Before installing, read the requirements and known limits in the README. Provider accounts, OpenCode, browser automation, and Blender integrations are not bundled. Existing OpenCode configuration is preserved.
