Changes

  • DXVK on DX8/DX9 games now uses Vulkan layer mode for all variants — Development and Stable DXVK are no longer deployed as a proxy (dxgi_dxvk.dll + [PROXY] chain). All variants now deploy as d3d9.dll directly and use the global Vulkan ReShade layer, matching the approach previously exclusive to Lilium HDR. Existing proxy-mode installs continue to work — reinstall or update DXVK to get the new behavior.
  • Installer now gracefully shuts down RHI before updating, even when running in Admin Mode. Takes effect on the next update after this one (2.2.2 plants the listener; 2.2.3+ benefits).
