WAPP Master 5.1.9– Release Notes

Issue Fixed:

Duplicate Message Delivery with Images

  • Problem: In previous versions (v5.1.7 and v5.1.8), sending a message with an image caused the message to be delivered twice to the same recipient.
  • Text-only messages were unaffected and delivered only once.
  • This issue was confirmed both by customer reports and internal testing.

Resolution:

  • WhatsApp Web JS library has been upgraded to v1.31.1-alpha.0 to align with the latest API changes and address the root cause of the duplication.
  • This version ensures correct handling of media messages and prevents duplicate delivery.
