A hyper-focused, offline-first task manager engineered to eliminate friction and solve the "activation energy" problem for overwhelmed minds.

What's New in v2.1.2

  • Developer Support Integration: Added a seamless external intent routing to the Buy Me a Coffee platform within the Settings architecture.

The Kaizen Polish Updates (v2.1.x)

This release represents a massive refinement to the underlying Android architecture and the user experience of the Focusly ecosystem.

Engineering Upgrades:

  • Doze Mode Defeated: Implemented PowerManager.PARTIAL_WAKE_LOCK and setExactAndAllowWhileIdle to guarantee exact-time background alarm firing, even when the device enters deep sleep.
  • Lock Screen Breaker: Upgraded foreground services to dynamically spawn high-priority notification channels, forcing the OS to wake the screen and display the full-screen intent upon task completion.
  • System Alert Windows: Integrated Settings.canDrawOverlays to bypass Android 10+ background execution limits, forcing UI pop-ups even when the screen is ON and the user is operating within another app.

UX Enhancements:

  • Custom Physics Engine: Built a lightweight, 60fps Jetpack Compose Canvas particle engine to generate screen-filling celebratory confetti when clearing completed tasks.
  • Dynamic Kaizen Quotes: The dashboard now injects randomized, anti-paralysis momentum quotes upon task completion to reinforce the dopamine loop.
  • Symmetrical Layouts: Mathematically balanced the interactive dashboard buttons based on dynamic screen width calculations for a flawless 50/50 UI slide animation.
  • Professional Legalese: Updated Settings with comprehensive Terms & Conditions detailing our strict offline-first data privacy and OS-level permission usage.
