Friendly reminder that some features of this mod (including features from this update and features related to bugfixes in this update) require Better Touch Prio to be installed. These decisions are still here to stay.

• Added playback increment/decrement controls and playback progress to both the Control Panel and the Song List menus.
  • You can toggle this option off for either menu in the mod settings.
  • You can also adjust how many milliseconds to increment/decrement by in the mod settings. Changes apply to both menus.
  • Press and hold either button for more than half a second to fast-forward/fast-rewind the current song!
  • Left/Right arrow keys and J/L keys are also available to increment/decrement current playback progress.
  • Hold Shift to increment/decrement 2x as much, and hold both Shift and Control (macOS)/Alt (Windows) to increment/decrement 3x as much.
  • Better Touch Prio is required for this feature.
• Added numerous keybinds inspired by YouTube, VLC, and Spotify into both the Control Panel and the Song List menus.
  • THIS FEATURE IS ONLY FOR WINDOWS AND MACOS.
  • KEYBINDS ARE NOT REBINDABLE.
  • Numrow/Numpad 0-9: Control playback progress position. (0 = 0%, 1 = 10%, etc..., 9 = 90%.)
  • Shift + N, Ctrl + S, Command + Right Arrow (macOS)/Ctrl + Right Arrow (Windows): Shuffle song
  • Shift + P, Command + Left Arrow (macOS)/Ctrl + Left Arrow (Windows): Play previous song (if available)
  • Command + R (macOS)/Ctrl + R (Windows): Restart current song
  • Cmd + H (macOS)/Ctrl + H (Windows): Go from Song List menu to Control Panel
  • Cmd + K (macOS)/Ctrl + K (Windows): Switch between Control Panel and Song List
  • Shift + Ctrl + B (macOS)/Shift + Alt + B (Windows): Favorite current song
  • Shift + Cmd + J (macOS)/Shift + Ctrl + J (Windows): Scroll to current song in Song List
  • Keybinds are not 1:1 exact to their source material; RobTop has yet to fix the crash where the Alt/Option key crashes the game, so some keybinds were changed to avoid collisions.
  • You can toggle (all of) these keybinds off in the mod settings.

• Added song name indicators for the song name text in the Control Panel.
  • You can toggle this option off in the mod settings.
  • Song name indicators for song name label are the same as those seen in the Song List menu.
  • For a number of reasons, the green "current song" indicator and the small dark gradient indicator for Jukebox songs do not apply to the Control Panel.
• Added up/down arrow key support for scrolling through the song list.
  • THIS FEATURE IS ONLY FOR WINDOWS AND MACOS.
  • KEYBINDS ARE NOT REBINDABLE.
  • Hold any combination of Shift, Control, or Alt to scroll at least 2x and up to 4x faster than just holding an arrow key.
• Changed the Newgrounds/Music Library Song Name Format setting to only apply to "Now Playing" notificiations as per past behavior.
  • This change was made to make song searching less dependenct on this age-old setting.
  • Depending on how many songs you've set for MLR, this setting will still be applied to other menus from MLR as a fallback approach if MLR is still busy calculating song lengths.
• Fixed an issue where menu loop positions wouldn't be restored when leaving a level whose most recently played song was also the most recently selected menu loop.
• Fixed some math fumbles with counting songs in the Song List menu.
• Fixed several UI-related issues related to setting/unsetting a Song Override.
• Fixed issues with detecting Newgrounds/Music Library songs stored in non-vanilla folders.
  • Try to name your files using both letters and numbers to reduce false positives.
• Fixed some issues with songs containing non-ASCII characters in ther titles.
  • This also affects where these songs are placed when sorting songs alphabetically in the Song List menu.
• "Fixed" a long-standing bug where menu loops saved between game restarts would be shuffled twice when Constant Shuffle Mode (formerly Playlist Mode) was enabled.
• "Fixed" a long-standing bug where song names and artist names modified by Jukebox would spill over to menu loop display names.
  • The quotation marks are there because the approach involved manually parsing Jukebox's own JSON data to fetch the original song name/artist name.
  • Future iterations of this "fix" will require loading Jukebox as a dependency, as both Menu Loop Randomizer and Jukebox rely on the same information for separate reasons.
  • Please don't use this changelog item (and future changelog items) as a justification to harass any of the developers of the Jukebox mod, especially if you don't know what's going on beneath the hood in either mod.
