Changes

  • Image hardening and cleared scan alerts. Docker Scout flagged three high severity util-linux CVEs (CVE-2026-78408, CVE-2026-78409, CVE-2026-78410) in the Debian trixie base image. Debian rates them minor and ships no fix for trixie, and none of them can be reached from this image: it runs as an unprivileged user, never runs nsenter, and the two mount(8) issues need a setuid mount binary plus a user-mountable fstab entry. The runner stage now strips the setuid and setgid bit from every binary, and an OpenVEX document under .vex/ marks the three CVEs as not affected with that reasoning. The build workflow's Scout steps read it, and it is copied into the image so docker scout cves on the published image reports the same. See .vex/README.md. (#402)

  • git-lfs rebuilt with golang.org/x/crypto 0.56.0. The bundled git-lfs binary carried x/crypto 0.55.0, which is affected by CVE-2026-56855 and CVE-2026-78662 (a malicious SSH peer can deadlock the connection). The build stage used go get @latest and a cached layer had kept the old resolution; the versions are now pinned (x/crypto 0.56.0, x/net 0.58.0) so a rebuild always ships what the Dockerfile says. x/crypto 0.56.0 needs Go 1.26 or newer, so git-lfs is now built with Go 1.27.1. (#402)

Notes

No application changes and no migration. The image is rebuilt on the current base, so Debian security updates that landed since 3.32.0 are included as usual. Back up data/gitea-mirror.db before upgrading, as with every release.
